Hi Robert! I just started looking at the Two Notes stuff to get cabinet tones into my computer. I have a Suhr Reactive Load now, and I want to get some cabinet sounds into my computer and home speakers. Your video is about 3 years old.....is the "Live" still the unit to get? I am asking because I am looking at the newer C.A.B.M device, but the Live is a rack unit, and has a built-in load......I could use one rack unit vs. the separate load unit and IR device......Thanks for the help! :)

I'm not sure if you will see this comment, but I was just curious how you would go about connecting a torpedo live or studio to a recording set up? Do you route it into your daw, or just go direct into via usb to the daw? ... Thinking of buying one but I can't find anything on this :/ I see they have outputs and analog outputs on the studio version, but just .. not educated enough to know how to make this work in a bedroom studio. Any help would be appreciated.

Torpedo user manual..? Online.. Not wanting to be mean, so: Guitar >> Amp >> Torpedo >> Interface >> DAW. That´s it. Additionally the Torpedo goes to your PC/Mac via USB to use the software interface "Torpedo Remote". Cheers and rock on!

I run the 2 notes into my interface and that controls the monitors but you could run the 2 notes into a Cab if you wanted to and still run the cab sim and have it at low volumes

I'm 100% digital too, it's just easier for me. I also suck at mic'ing cabs too, simplicity is what I need.

So what out there is "simple"? At this point, I do not want hundreds of dizzying options and combinations! Something with a few amps and matching cabs would be great and not overwhelming. Plus I do not want to spend much time on the computer as part of gear chain.

Hi, Brian, that's why the live is so great. You can have tons of options if you want them but if not the unit is insanely easy to use all by its self literally just the turn of a nob and your set :)

Can you run the Two Notes into a cab so it acts as an attenuator?

Take the torpedo captor for that Man! I use it to attenuate output volume of my amp at Home and in live situation with the cab sim included (which is good!!) waiting purchasing torpedo cab or live to have perfect tone live and at home. For 220 or 250 euros (i believe) it's a great piece of Gear next to the real torpedo live
