I don’t think any of it has to do with fame. It has to do with Colin’s story. What all he has gone through to get back home to New Zealand. We rallied around him to encourage him to keep going and to never give up. Even when it seemed like the universe was trying hard to stop him. Colin’s perseverance is awe inspiring 🥂💞 Being hit by lightning twice now that’s a one in a billion.

They already have! But that was more when I was ingrained in the sailing world. I’d like to sit in that happy place where I am occasionally recognised and feel safe having a beer with my audience, but not so big I get constantly recognised and probably harassed!

Do you dream of being an “influencer”?

In some ways yes, in some ways no. I dream of being able to get what I see as healthy messages out to a mass of people, I dream of showing that life can be what we choose, I dream of having a community of people around the world that rally around the same mission. I dream of financial freedom and full-time travel. What I don’t dream of is fame or lack of privacy. I don’t mind the idea of being recognised because I love people, but I hate idea of not being able to be alone due to constant barrage of people. Why do you ask? 💜

Haha, it’s always these questions I get after that I’m like, “why didn’t I include that?!?” He’s most famous because he starred on Below Deck, but also because of everything I said at the beginning of the intro. 💜
