Hey guys! Join us as we explore the vibrant and captivating Kuwait City!
Our adventure began in Kathmandu, Nepal, where we got a stunning view of Mt. Everest. Upon arriving in Kuwait, we faced a two-hour visa process and landed in the scorching 40-degree heat. Exhausted, we went straight to our Airbnb and slept the whole night.
The next day, we reunited with Elma, a friend we met in Seoul Korea. She became our guide for the day, starting with a visit to the iconic Kuwait Towers where we learned about their fascinating history. Feeling the heat, we stopped at a beautiful McDonald’s by the water for some refreshments.
Next up, we explored the bustling fish market, saw important buildings around the city, and visited the mind-blowing Avenues Mall. It’s like an indoor city with every major brand you can imagine! After a quick bite at Chili’s, we continued browsing through the mall. The temperature soared to 47°C, making it feel like we were in a dryer.
We then wandered around the vibrant Al Mubarakiya Souk, and later, tried some authentic Kuwaiti food. The next morning, after some work, we treated ourselves to Tim Horton’s Ice Caps for $10-crazy, right?
We headed back to the Kuwait Towers for a breathtaking view from the top. As our short visit came to an end, we spent our final hours back at the Avenues Mall before catching our red-eyed flight back to Europe.
Hope you enjoy the video! Don’t forget to like, share, and subscribe for more adventures!

It's sad that most information about Kuwait and Kuwaitis in this video is not accurate. You should've asked a Kuwaiti person or at least research and not just rely on the Indian lady.

I am a Sri Lankan who came to work in Kuwait. I actually work in Boursa Exchange. I have only been living here for 1 year so far. All Kuwaitis I have met have been very kind to me. If you be nice to them, they'll be nice to you. Summer is a bit tough here, but winter is amazing!!! There's a lot of diversity here as I've seen. Hoping to learn Arabic soon so I could connect with more people. Love your videos btw. Just wanted to say my piece!

There is nothing in Kuwait . It’s very boring country. As an Indian Kerala . This Kuwait is most arrogant people on earth . They don’t respect other nationalities. Your Govt have billions of money . They just can’t make plants trees . If they do that hot weather will 50% become low .

The greeting was routinely deployed whenever and wherever Muslims gathered and interacted, whether socially or within worship and other contexts.) Welcome to Kuwait! 🌟 It’s unfortunate that your stay was so short, but we hope you’ll visit again in the winter instead of the summer. ❄️🌞 At the gym, you might have noticed that many Kuwaitis wear headphones 🎧. This is because Kuwaitis are very social and enjoy talking to each other. They feel it’s disrespectful to ignore friends or family by wearing headphones at other places unless if they’re alone Regarding the Indian man who welcomed you at Freej Suwleeh restaurant 🍽️, he was reciting a welcoming poem 📜. His Arabic isn’t perfect since it’s not his native language, but I understood some of his words. I wish you could visit Kuwait in the winter, especially in February 🌟. During this time, we have many festivals 🎉, concerts 🎤, and outdoor activities 🌳 with amazing weather. We also celebrate National Day and Liberation Day 🎆. You can enjoy places like Winter Wonderland 🎢🎠🏰, Subahia Park 🎡, Al Shaheed Park 🌺, and various museums 🏛️. You missed out on visiting a lot of great places and trying KDD products, like their ice cream 🍦 and chocolate milk 🥛. We hope you come back soon to experience all of this! ✨

About the mosque: usually only the men are required to pray in the mosque if possible while the women pray at home ( of course they can go to the mosque if they choose too, but they are not required to), for ease and comfort. Women could attend the Friday sermon if they wanted . That’s why usually the women’s section is either smaller or at the back 💗

I recommend you come in winter. We have more activities especially when it comes to camping in winter. Also, Kuwait known as the oldest country. The map you mentioned was during the Ottoman era. There was no country called Iraq at that time, and the Ottomans classified our country as a judicial state only subordinate to Basra, but it had its own autonomy by our royal family( Al Sabah).

Not all the Kuwaiti families are wealthy or have nannies or drivers it is just a quarter of the people living there since Kuwait is quite expensive country Kuwait is like every other country but people here like to show off more , and the thing about the nannies really annoyed me because it’s just the wealthy families who has a nanny as you said for every child it is not true. The wealthy families might have a cleaning nanny and the cooking chef and nanny who take care of the kids.

Kuwait in the summer is brutal! Well done for powering through it! Its hard to do anything here during the day during the summer. The best time to come to Kuwait would be anytime between October all the way to April (maybe May). The weather is gorgeous, plenty of daily activities, winter is camping season in the desert too so thats tons of fun, and early summer / spring is perfect for the beach. P.s: 1. You can absolutely wear headphones lol 2. The Souk area in the Avenue mall is supposed to be a tribute to the actual Old Souk we have downtown. Hope you guys come back in the future!

Hello, I am Iranian, but I was in Kuwait for a while, due to the proximity of Kuwait to Iran, there are many Iranians who have been in Kuwait for a long time and have passports there. Most of the Kuwaitis who have Iranian origin are Behbanis Behbahan is a city in the southwest of Iran I hope you will also travel to Iran, of course, I know that Canadian citizens must have a guide to enter Iran, but it is a bit difficult

You had the wrong information about most of us that have Iranian ancestors are from Behbahan… actually from Lamerd
@Moha5.
@Moha5. 15 күн бұрын
Your words are wrong and wrong. It is impossible for Kuwait to give residents a Kuwaiti passport unless their ancestors are Kuwaiti. No one obtains citizenship under the pretext of being a resident + a few Kuwaitis who are of Iranian origin, and most of them are Arabs from Iran, such as the Ahwazi Arabs, and they are not Iranian by origin, but rather return to the Arabian Peninsula. But they only immigrated to Iran and then returned to the Arabian Peninsula

I am sad that you came in the summer. We Kuwaitis cannot stand going out in the summer. The heat makes everything beautiful bad. I hope you come back in the winter. Kuwait is very beautiful in the winter and there is a lot that makes you come for it, from activities and beautiful atmosphere. Thank you.

For better understanding, the population of Kuwait is approximately 4.8m, and out of that only 1.5m are actually Kuwaiti. The remaining 3.3m are foreign nationals, most being from Egypt and India. There is also a large population of Filipino’s too. Pretty cool video overall, glad you enjoyed your time here. I’ve been here for 9yrs (DOD contractor) and have found Kuwait to be a pretty cool place (pun intended). There are actually lot of things you can do here in Kuwait, and if you know a Kuwaiti it’s even better because they can take you to places and do the fun things that only Kuwaiti’s know. 😎👍 🇰🇼 🇺🇸

Nice video I liked it a lot, am Kuwaiti and I have some comments if I may mention. 1- the nice girl accompany you was not a local she is Indian. 2- also you mentioned that the American restaurants came to Kuwait after the iraqi invasion and that is not true it was here long before. 3- I really wonder how did you girls made it and walk through the heat, even us locals we go from one mall to another :) we visit the places you went to only in winter. 4- I also want to mention that Kuwaitis are not all super wealthy :) and we don't all have houses it is always exaggerated believe me :) it is true we like to dress up and always look super expansive, cuz its a cultural concept here to always dress up and look nice, comfort is not an option unfortunately :) thank you and am so welling to take you on a tour in your next visit ...

Nice video.. I watched it many times unlike some other boring videos, this video was fun & full of nice different activities and sites in Kuwait with many informations ( some were not accurate though 😉) .. since these types of videos are taken by viewers as a documentary so you might have not mentioned some informations as a fact. Overall it was nice 👍.. good luck

One other thing, Mt Everest is not the tallest mountain in the world. It is the tallest of all mountains where the base of the mountain is at sea level (or higher). But the tallest mountain from base to peak is Mauna Kea in Hawaii, it’s over 10,000 meters. Over half of the mountain is under water and the other half rises another 5,000m above the ocean. In total Mauna Kea is 10,205m (33,481 ft) and Mt Everest is 8,849m (29,032 ft).

I would like to correct some of what was presented in this video. First, in Kuwait there is a middle class, which is approximately 60%, a poor class, which is 35%, and of course a rich class, which is equivalent to 5%. Second, it is not true that every child has a maid, but every family has a maid, and this is if they want to have a maid, and this applies to the driver, and of course the family is the one who pays this to the maid or the driver. Third, regarding the house, it is true that the government gives citizens the right to housing, but he must return this amount from his monthly salary, which is 10%, to the Real Estate Bank. Fourth, regarding summer travel, most citizens do not travel annually, they save monthly in order to travel every two years or every year if they can for a period not exceeding two weeks. I hope that the information being conveyed is accurate because there are many citizens who are poor and struggling with day to day and are neither middle class nor rich. Thanks...

In Kuwait it’s totally legal to wear headphones we just don’t wear headphones because it’s a little awkward for us it’s more respectful to go out and be aware and know your surroundings it’s like being respectful to people and showing that you are listening to them also it’s because people just generally don’t wear anything on their heads 😂

New subscriber from Kuwait ❤ welcome in Kuwait! I wished if I have chance to show you the country myself but I guess Elma did great job. Many of the information are not correct here but that’s ok, I highly encourage you to ask the locals about anything, Kuwaitis are so friendly. I think you need another visit in winter and you’ll feel it’s totally different than your first visit in summer where is all the activities are only indoors. ** also for the Visa the terminal you used is crowded the other terminals are way much faster! My friend from US had his Visa in 5 minutes and took him about 25 minutes from airplane to my car in the parking 😊 LOOKING FORWARD TO SEE YOU HERE AGAIN 👍
