I love Lompoc. You forgot to mention the mission (and burton mesa area in general) has lots of great hiking/biking trails. Also a very decent indoor aquatic center in downtown for the kiddos to burn off some energy.

Nice video. Just a minor correction. It is now Vandenberg SPACE Force Base. It used to be Air Force but they switched branches a few years back. Kind've like some of the Navy institutions becoming the Marines.

Shootings are everywhere in the US, Lompoc is rad I love it here but people definitely like to make it seem more rough than it is for some reason. Guy got shot in the head outside of my apartment when I lived in Santa Barbara, they just keep it hush hush better there.

Definitely could be more for kids here but at least the weather is always perfect so kids can go out and ride bikes. Commenting the town is Ass on tourism videos definitely won’t help the growth of Lompoc. If the town gets more tourism and money coming in eventually more things will be made to entertain kids and improve this city.

I lived in Lompoc for over 20 years I miss living so close to the ocean. Thanks for the video. One small correction the space shuttle never launched there unfortunately it was scrapped. SpaceX does do a lot of launches though.
