I really like the idea of an additional location for the Longhorns. Not only will you obtain your dream in raising Longhorns, but it will give the best life to Tex and the ladies too. As you've said the adventure that began the growth of the Sanctuary that made it so popular on KZbin and Facebook started with Tex videos. It's only fitting that Tex gets to live his best life too in a place fit for the king that he is with more ladies to keep him happy. It’s a shame you need the “hay field” cuz that would be a nice section to fence off for Tex and maybe his girls too? I have no idea how many acres that is over there. At least with him there you could still see and watch over him. Maybe buy the extra acres to be used for the hay crop you lose by fencing that in.. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Lester, my dad lost his dominant arm yrs ago due to a roofing accident, he never let it get him down an still to this day he can do Everything that you an I can do but probably even better lol. When we was younger we used to have a race to see who can tie their shoes the fastest an I bet you can guess who won yep my dad did 🥰. Now the one thing he can Not do is use a hammer and a nail at the same time lol 😂😂 he has thought about how he would even try but still has not Accomplished that one yet. My Dad worked his whole life an is now fighting lung cancer but you would never know He is one of the Strongest man I know & i know with everything in me he Will Bet This!! I understand what you are saying Lester especially if we are going to get more females. You have to plan ahead for your herd and for their happiness and to live their best life. But save a half acre for me to buy next to Long Horn Lester's so I can put a tiny house on it to watch over my heart throb Tex and those sweet girls. Not sure if I can stand not seeing them in videos everyday...And I love Pablo, she is so unusual and she is just so cute. Hope the other ducks and geese accept her soon so she can hang with them in the big pond and littles pasture. I almost think she was another drop off that someone did since she is so tame. Yes, Tex would be happy with his own herd to protect! Maybe you could set up solar charged cameras to keep an eye on them. That goofy teethy, side eye look Tex gave was adorable. He says I can be a big goof 😜as well. I think galoot can be a term of endearment as well. My grandfather was shot in chest in WW11, on the right side. He lost the nerves to his right arm, hand, etc. He could move his arm up and down and close his fingers fused together and his thumb... Man, he could do a lot with the grip of thumb to fingers fused. He drove, mowed the lawns type instead of writing, handman work etc... The only main issue was there was no nerve supply. He did cut his hand/fingers occasionally, so he had to keep an eye on cutting his right arm due to no nerve supply.... it can be done, Lester....laffinnnn

This is a century farm. It's been in their family for more than a century. It was purchased a long time ago. Those fences are pretty typical. We had a huge dairy farm and all our fences were barbed wire, here in Texas.

Longhorn Lester's Ranch 💜 I like it! I was thinking how about clearing the area on the other side of uncle Dan's house and using that? That way they will still be close to home. Whatever you choose, I think Tex and the girls will like it. ... While you kept talking about your "strong hand", I kept picturing that movie Scary Movie and the actor with the small hand. He reaches out to someone hanging from a house and he sticks out his tiny gross hand and tells her to "Here. Take my strong hand". In another scene he describes how he basted the Thanksgiving day turkey. Lol!!! That movie is good for a belly laugh!!

He's not. I give him toys to entertain himself (barrel, rolls of hay to destroy, etc...) but he's not happy. Especially when he sees all the other cows heading out back and he can't be with them.

Lester does very well to keep Tex occupied with activities. But a bull needs and wants more, especially more time with the ladies. Lots of time he isn't even with his own ladies because the babies need room to run and grow. So, sadly Tex spends a lot of time alone. But, remember we only see bits and pieces of time through the videos. Lester knows his animals well and what they need he will see to it they have it if he can get it for them. Lots of love, hard work and sacrifice he and his family go through to provide for all of them. So, I trust and believe he knows best for them.

Why not move his rear fence back several hundred feet and shore it up really well? The horses would still have the area up front where they go now and go out to the open pasture. I think it would be unnerving for them not to be on your property and how would you know when one of his girls go into heat? With all the land there on your property the money you could save on new land and expand his pasture. Just a thought…

Selfishly and personally I would love to see a strong enough fence made so that Tex could stay put. Yes it would be expensive but buying land and traveling back and forth won’t be cheap either.

That didn't happen. Stop perpetuating that narrative of other " cultures" stealing animals for meat. It's wrong. Those were hateful thoughts as he admitted. Had they removed the hay instead of accusing neighbors and looking for local parties Brady would have been found sooner.
