In contrast to human population, Mongolia houses more than 70 million livestock comprising 32.3 million sheep, 29.3 million goats, 4.7 million cattle, 4.2 million horses and 0.5 million camel. I bet that blows your mind. No chickens?

In the U.S. alone over 8 billion chickens are killed every year by the food industry. Worldwide, estimates suggest more than 70 billion chickens are killed each year, not including chickens killed by the egg industry.

Good old MIAT, doesn't matter what flight you're on, it'll be the chicken or beef. 😁 When arriving at the airport, don't be surprised if your "taxi" is a guy with a beaten up Toyota. There aren't regular taxi companies, finger taxis are how lots of people get around (basically paid hitch hiking). Good self-correction on ger rather that yurt. I hope you tried the Russian Irish bar just up from the Kempinski. Definitely an experience 😁

I was initially shocked when i saw the Mongolia tag.. Knowing how bleak the winter weather is in Mongolia is at this time of year i was thinking this would be the worst time of year to visit Mongolia.. But then i realized you guys delay posting your video's often by months.. So looking at your video it looks like you visited Mongolia in the warmer months of the year.. Mongolian Ger.. It was funny when you said that because my family name is Gurr which is pronounced exactly the same as Ger,, Oh and a correction while the Mongolian empire was one of the largest empires in the world it was not the biggest.. The Biggest was the British Empire.. The reason why they have both left and right hand drive cars is because many of their cars are second hand cars bought from different countries.. Japan drives on the left hand side of the road and is a source for many second hand cars for Mongolia..
@GrowingUpWithoutBorders11 ай бұрын
That's exactly it...if we were there now we'd be absolutely frozen 😂😂 We went in May but it was still very cold. Thanks for sharing the info about the largest not biggest. The UK definitely made their mark around the world and both are pretty amazing since Mongolia is relatively small in my mind but so is the UK to have conquered so many countries out of 1 small island.
