I could listen to Sam talk all day long! Such a nice genuine person, as is Linda. They both really cared for and took care of Elvis! Out of all the women Elvis was with, Linda was the best of the bunch. I wish Elvis had realized that, I think he did but the sticking point was she wanted marriage and children. I never could understand why he didn't want more children because he loved children!

Linda was too busy spending his money and screwing his keyboard player? It was not the fairytale romance she had portrayed it to be? Elvis had several other girlfriends while he was with Linda. Publicly as well. He introduced Sheila Ryan at his concert when Priscilla was there as well. He was with Sheila for two years at the same time as Linda!! Linda lies! Lisa never called her when Elvis died. SAM called Linda and he put Lisa on the phone. She has lied for almost 46 years!! 😡lying Linda!!!’

And she expected Elvis to pay for ALL of those houses he bought and her apartment AFTER he died!! Seriously? She was outraged that she wasn’t getting any more money after he died! Published in the newspaper! Before that Vernon had to cancel her credit cards to stop her spending!!

Elvis makes me think of King Solomon. He gathered all these women together then started to listen to them regarding their practices. So he strayed from what he knew to be right causing everything to start to go wrong.

Two specific things stuck out to me in this interview. First: When Sam was discussing Elvis being kinda a down one day. Wanting to just go out etc. when Elvis said, “ But then the fans won’t know who I am.” Sam, “ Well that’s the point isn’t it.” I just paused the video. I am not contradicting what Sam said at all. I truly believe that Elvis loved being an entertainer and loved his fans. That’s what Elvis was the best at and he was gifted with everything needed to do it. Elvis was a performer. But I think it’s very significant that he was down because he just wanted to be out and just be around “Amongst the people.” When he said but the fans won’t know WHO I AM,” it’s very revealing. that I don’t truly believe that Elvis connected himself more with the person that was generous, caring, loving, funny, and all the other good things about him, even to complete strangers. The Elvis that got mad, got annoyed etc. He didn’t realize that, that person was who Elvis Presley was. When Elvis Presley hit out of high school and bam, he was a star, he never had the chance to go through the very important years in his life, your 20’s , where you meet people, and you are just you. Elvis was never just the Elvis who grew up in Tennessee only for a very short period. after graduating high school. I honestly feel that when Elvis said that it wasn’t just because he cared about his fans and wanted to give them a chance to see him. I really don’t! I truly believe that Elvis connected himself, who he was, more being Elvis the performer than he did with Elvis the guy riding his horses, joking with guys, vacationing, generous, being a loving father, and a living husband etc. Elvis didn’t realize that that is who he was more than the performer because only a few people in this world were able to experience that. Which meant that Elvis was only able to experience that, to that extent also! With the world as big as it was, or even the city he lived in, life was going on. Real life day to day activities. Simple things that you or I when asked by someone else, “ Hey when you do this or that, do normally do it this way or that way.” Elvis wouldn’t have an a answer because he didn’t experience a normal everyday life like most people do. He didn’t do all the normal errands, and, just think about all the normal things your everyday life consist of. Getting gas, mailing packages , getting your oil changed, getting your registration, inspection on your car. Grocery shopping! He never did all those things. If anyone ever asked Elvis questions pertaining to those things or the similar, he wouldn’t be able to answer them. When Sam states Elvis was a phenomenon, he truly was. Not just because of his take to or looks but Elvis in a big way, brought sexuality regarding music, to a public platform. Sheri is would demand he get off stage when he was performing. Especially outside venues. Told him you are not aloud to do that. Ed Sullivan n refused and said he would NE ER have him on his show. It was disgraceful the way he was moving. Well he had to eat those words to an extent but he did have him in bug would only show him from the waist up! Elvis really never got to experience who he was more then he got to experience the Elvis who was a phenomenon. He never got to know the other Elvis more. Sadly neither did more people!

Two Specific statements con’t Second: When Sam said, “ The book didn’t kill Elvis” Most of what was in that book was true and there was much dramatized. Well what parts were dramatized? That those parts the guys had no control over, was because it was a ghost writer. (Well golly gee, poor guys. They would’ve had all the control, if they didn’t do it in the first place) And well they were hurt! These guys were hurt because Elvis fired them, for what I can see, was of sorts an intervention .. right! Sam states that if they wouldn’t have decided to do the book, he feels that Elvis most definitely would have hired them back! So exactly how long was it? How long was it after they were fired that they decided to write this book. Correct if I am wrong but didn’t Sam say that if they wouldn’t have said they were writing this book Elvis would have hired them back in a month or so. I think he was teaching them a lesson. So how soon was it, after they were fired did they decide to write this tell all book for revenge, because that is exactly what it was, how long? Sam said, We’ll you couldn’t blame them. I mean to be cut off like that economically like that. They had families etc Huh, we’ll see I am confused! There hasn’t been one video I have watched pertaining to Elvis whether it had been several or more from. the group of the Memphis Mafia or individually , where the same statement was made over and over again. Which was; “ Elvis was so generous. He paid for everything. No matter what it was , he paid for everything! He bought everyone houses, cars, gifts, paid for all the vacations they went on, yadda, yadda, yadda! “ So if this is true, and there is not a doubt in my mind it is because it’s coming straight from all of the horses mouths, what economic hardship were they upon, so soon! They should have been banking their paychecks. Even if Elvis didn’t buy all of them houses and cars, which I find hard to believe he didn’t, they were still getting paid very handsomely for traveling, spending nights in the finest rooms in hotels, eating at the finest restaurants or having food catered in, etc all for free. Elvis paid for all that when they were on the road. So where exactly was all there money going that they had to worry economically. West made it a point to say in a video with three others that were with Elvis for decades, that not once, did they EVER miss a paycheck. And that they knew sometimes Elvis couldn’t afford it. Wow!!! That’s quite a statement! Very telling of just how caring Elvis was and just how selfless he was! I think a lot of times when you are part of something like Sam was for so long off and on, and the fact that you are IN IT, you really can’t see the other side of things that are quite evident! And just because you are around people for years, still doesn’t mean you know their true colors, when they feel they have been done wrong or cut of from their cushy lives. Basically getting paid generously in consideration for the work they were doing . Not to mention plus tons and ton and tons of very expensive perks, that one looking from the outside in , would be confused as to what he was backing as possibly legitimate excuses why they did what they did. Which in my eyes is utter BS! Not saying that’s not how he truly feels and stands behind it but that also doesn’t mean what he is backing are legitimate reasons! They aren’t! If you truly cared about someone who had an addiction problem, is deciding to write a tell all book that you have no control over, beneficial to the person you care so much about. Never saw that type of caring before.. and so quickly to make that decision. Fastest book in history! Written, edited, published in less then a year. Coincidentally just 2 weeks before this man was to go tour! Remarkably coincidental! It happens I guess! Elvis’s lifestyle killed him! Maybe 30%. Elvis’s fault! Weird how the last 6 months of Elvis’s life , Dr. Nick prescribed 5000 pills Many grade A level narcotics. Think about that! The LAST 6 months of ELVIS’S LIFE, he was prescribed, by one doctor. Dr. Nick, FIVE THOUSAND PILLS! Let that sink in! ALL OF IT! That’s not including the samples, Dr Nicks secretary said she saw On his desk labeled Graceland. That were in a big grocery sack. When Geraldo Rivera asked her how much was in the bag , she said it was half full! Wow!! So Dr. Nick had been prescribing powerful narcotics to Elvis, for decades. Illegally! Narcotics that doctors are well aware they are very addictive. That’s why they are only to be prescribed, many, in very very serious incidents ! Dr. Nick was said to also be borrowing money from Elvis. $250,000, $50,000 and $20,000! That’s has nothing to do with what he was getting paid every time he wrote out a prescription . It’s safe to say that this doctor was making more off Elvis then he was in his practice, and 16 others including Jerry Lee Lewis! And Elvis’s best man at his wedding! See some don’t see it but I do! This Dr. Nick was purposely getting Ekvis addicted, because he knew that it would give him a steady stream of income. He knew what he was prescribing was highly addictive. HE KNEW! He knew after a certain period of time… that Elvis getting off these drugs, would and could only be accomplished by omitting himself into a rehab facility that would have most likely been for no less then 6 months, MINIMUM! That he also knew with a Phenomenon like Elvis, during that era, his schedule, the demand for him , it Wouldn’t happen. So for years this is what he did. Other doctors, a few, also did it . But no where even near the extent this guy did. So no , it wasn’t just Elvis’s lifestyle that killed him, nope!!! For those who are gonna say he would have went somewhere else. Yeah sure! But this guy was a friend . Lived and worked in Tennessee! I find it very very unrealistic, that any other doctor would have been so incredibly inhuman as this guy was!!! So the last 6 months??? Interesting!!!! So if Elvis knew this book was coming out, being written, whatever, then this doctor surely knew. Word was out! People knew! Last 6 months 5000 pills not including the half brown grocery bag half full of samples. These packs Elvis took were in like a very small square envelope. Ricky said there were 8 pills in each! Who made up these envelopes? The night he died, prescriptions were filled! Who made up these packets Elvis was taking? Why in all the videos so far that I have watched, never did I hear anyone say that Elvis had a hard time even after taking something to go to sleep because it wouldn’t work. Never heard anyone describe that. Ginger the night he died. Or morning he died. Sh said that Elvis asked Ricky to bring him his sleeping pack! He did! Still hours later he still couldn’t sleep. So he called Ricky again, Took another!! Now… that’s 16 pills so far.. of Grade A levels narcotics that this man has taken within hours . Like 3 hours. Again couple of hours later, Ginger wakes up as Elvis still can not go to sleep??? So he calls Ricky again!!! ( WTH) He takes another packet!! Now it’s 24 pills of Grade A level narcotics within hours of each other! Then still he can’t go to sleep! Now I do not care who you are, how much you weigh, and how long you have been taking drugs, there’s no way after that many pills and the Grade of pills he was taking, that his axx shouldn’t have been knocked out cold. After the first pack. 8 pills that were downer, suppressants! Then 16. Then 24! The night before he is supposed to go on tour! What was in the packets and who had access to those packets and who made them up? We’re they new packets from the doctor or dentist? Meaning was there something different, or excluded from those packets that usually made Elvis fall asleep ? Was it replaced with something else that if he took so much of it or had to have so much, it would kill him? He even played racquet ball that night which would have worn him down and gotten rid of the adrenalin of the anticipation of the next day starting his tour! Something isn’t adding up and everything isn’t a big coincidence. Elvis was partly responsible for what happened but he was not the one most responsible! He was indeed a victim of foul play! There’s no way everything with the book, how fast it came out, the increase in pills being prescribed, and all the BS with local PD, Chief Medical Officer and the contents of what was in Elvis’s stomach being disposed of , that’s it’s all just a big coincidence. If that’s what I am to believe then the only thing I have to say is find someone who has no brain cells and Maybe it’s time to change the definition of the word COINCIDENCE!

With all respect to Sam I think he's applying some diplomacy in this interview. Priscilla clearly implied on Australian TV that she thought Elvis had done this to himself. I'm using the word implied simply because I can't recall the words exactly that she used. I would have to spend time finding the discussion online. I can tell you though I was as shocked to hear her say that as anyone else.
