12/31/24 ❤❤ this episode I adored my grandmother. She taught me w/o saying a word how to be a gracious hostes. People would just drop in and she would drop what she was doing remove her apron and gave the guests her full attention. If we were there for summer She would tell me mija bring us coffee. I was young but knew what she wanted Heat the coffee and place the Mexican sweet bead on a large plate and serve each person their coffee and offer sweet bread And then leave the grown ups to chat unless I was needed again. She also knew who came over to be fed She invite them to sit at the dining room table While she quickly put a FULL meal together. She was awesome and was NEVER put out by unexpected company. Even family members that Did Not live in her house were treated as welcomed guests ❤❤ her
