It's Friday, day 2 of Welcome to Rockville 2023. This was our most complete day of sampling from the music buffet at the festival. Lots of bands and a lot of walking between stages. No rain, despite being threatened for an early delay.

The Warning is the band to watch. Saw them 4 times this month(Austin, Houston, New Orleans and Atlanta)and 6 times last year(Destin, Atlanta, Tampa, Indianapolis, Huntsville and New Orleans)

My sister's best friend was one of those crazy mofos who stayed on the rail all day for A7X! I spotted her in your video! She brought me to my very first Rockville in 2016 and I am forever grateful 🖤🤘 She met the people she's with at an A7X show and now they all travel to as many shows as they can lol. I can't believe I found her 😂😂 Thank you for making these, I couldn't go this year so it's nice to see bits and pieces ☺

Seeing that camping party, I'm glad I got a hotel across the street although it was quite expensive but I could sleep. Avenged and MIW were awesome.

Hardy was much better than I anticipated and like you said, it was a break from many bands that have similar sounds that were playing.

Kyle, how much are you actually enjoying it though? Back in the day I was a regular at Download, Glastonbury and Reading festivals, got some amazing memories, but right now I couldn't imagine anything worse than trying to sleep through the late night parties, people snoring and just general campsite behaviour. Hate to admit it, but if I go to a festival now, its weekend tickets and then break out into a hotel each night. Definitely don't get the full authentic festival experience, but definitely have a better time. Kudos on sticking with it though, I've turned into a grumpy old man at 41 😂

Tuk Smith was a hidden gem in the overall lineup. I am anxious to see him live for his own show at some point. We've seen Ghost many times. They are great live.
