What I always tell people if they ask me “what should I wear”, I tell them to prioritize comfort over look. One of the smartest purchases I made was a pair of Sketchers Twist fit shoes. They were comfortable and I didn’t have to worry about my shoelaces coming untied. Also another smart purchase you can make, a cooling towel.

Great job CS going over the basics. We'll be going again this year. Honestly it's because of your past vlogs that we decided to do VIP last year and again this year. Like you've said in the past value is all in the eyes of the buyer. For us we'd rather pay the up charge for 1 day of VIP compared to multiple days in the reg GA for the price. Finally gonna knock off seeing my bucket list band Limp Bizkit this year. Can't wait till next week!!! Keep up the great work, look forward to seeing this years coverage from you guys!! 👍

I would absolutely love to go to this if it were anytime November-March. No way in hell would I go this time of year! Standing out there in the heat with the sun beaming down on you is dangerous after like a half hour, maybe an hour with a hat and sunscreen, IDK how anyone can make it four days. And then you add the camping on top of it. They have turned something that is supposed to be fun into an episode of survivor.

All about perspective and location too…I would rather pay $16 for a bag of ice at the camp store which is 200’ from Owners Lot than walk an hour.

100% accurate. We’ve bought from the general store on site as well. However, if you need to leave the track for other reasons like restaurant use, etc, it’s good to tack on picking up ice outside. The walk to the general store inside isn’t much shorter than going through the tunnel to the gas station if you are in Orange camping.

Seems like a solar charger would be a good idea, keep regenerating battery pack in the sun. If those are allowed. What does VIPs is non existent mean? Just not very many places?

VIP only has spaces at 2 of the 5 stages. The other 3 stages are essentially GA. You can bring a battery pack in. Not sure how the solar powered battery pack would work as most times, you are packed in tight with people all around you and nowhere to put the battery down.

You can enter any time after gate time. People line up in the morning to run to the barricades for the stages when gates open.

We’ve done premium parking in the past and while it didn’t fill up for us, the walk to the entryway was a bit further away. I can’t speak for the last couple of years, bc we’ve camped. That said, I expect the event to be much busier this year than in the past.

Best advice don't go. They over sell the VIP so there are no seats and if it thunders they kick you out. And when you go to see Megadeth and they scrub you don't get a refund. Danny Wimmer is a straight up dirtbag scammer. That's not an opinion either. Never paying to go there ever again.

We haven’t had a bad time for the last 11 years of going. They have to kick people off the track when lightning is in the distance. That’s a law in FL that the track follows for races as well. Sorry that you had a bad experience.
