Would love a video about the 1975. How much room do you have on the top rack from the ceiling? Will a brisket fit up there? Would also love a video explaining powder coat vs the linseed oil finish.

What happen to the one video a week thing? Trying to get more info on these offsets

Workhorse Pits 1 second ago Updated 11.09.21 We are just now pulling the camera's back out. We have experienced incredible demand and we paused any content which might sell more units than we can build (20 per week). We also paused all new products to focus on maintaining top shelf craftsmanship and keeping wait times under a year.

I have a couple question because I'm in the urge of buying the 1969; it seems like the perfect size for me. How many brisket would I be able to cook on the 1969 reasonably? (Something for me and family or get together party). Can I cook ribs or any meat on the top rack if I purchase it and have the same results as the bottom? Thank you!

JD, hello again. I have a few questions about live fire cooking and am confused about them. I have seen Mr. B Lang state that you want the front end of the cooker slightly higher than the fire box end so the smoke runs uphill, and I have also seen him say to have the wind coming into the firebox (tail) end of the cooker. However, if I remember correctly, this is not what you agree, nor state in your videos. I have watched them all. So, why the reasoning behind what you say, and what reasons do you think Mr. Land has for what he says? I realize you would be speculating on his thoughts, but would appreciate your perspective, and your thoughts.

Only one you issues why in the world 🌎 you can cut the one inch lower make bottom shelf slide to ? And from fire box to cook chamber putting half inch lip so the grease won’t drip and firebox ?
@WorkhorsePits Жыл бұрын
Slide out bottom racks are a brisket killer. You pull the bottom rack out into outside air after trying to maintain a very steady temperature and this will spell disaster for a brisket. So, since Brisket Is King, we don't offer a slide out bottom grate, only a slide out top grate. In addition, there is some heavy science as to why our offsets are as popular as they are. Burning even is due to hundreds of variables, but we like the grate position where it is. We have a firebox grease catch.

Hard to believe you haven’t put out a single cook video backing up your claims.

Hi- As of last count, we have had over 500 videos shared on our social media pages (Instagram/Facebook) showing the performance. It's not hard to find. We will not release any testing results from CFD due to shared ownership of the IP. Point is, it does exactly what we tout.

We do apologize, but we stopped all promotion and activity on all social media channels, due to our volume over exceeding (by a long shot) our expected orders. They will be coming this week. Thank you for your patience.
