Welcome to the farm Hugo the Vizsla and Joey the Kelpie is getting fast in the big paddock

Monday’s pack love Monday’s. There sure is no Monday-itis amongst these dogs. They’re so excited to get into chasing that big ball, racing Luke and Jason in the big paddock and flying off the dock after the lure! The excitement and joy is infectious and you can’t help but get excited too!
Today we welcomed Hugo the Vizsla to our Monday pack. I included a clip of Hugo when he arrived so that you can see how he progressed quickly over the day. He was a little nervous at first, whilst everyone is friendly, it can feel a little overwhelming meeting a big new pack in a new environment.
Hugo settled in really well and in no time was a member of the pack like he’d been one forever. He was amongst my like minded mates with a similar approach to their farm trips ... fast, fun and giving it all a go! When it came time for the pool, Hugo was tentative and not confident in the water but gave it a go and with a lot of encourage and coaching, got the hang of it and was jumping in all by himself! Way to go Hugo!
With the cooler weather today and the light rain, we headed for the big paddock to get in a few sprints. We’ve got some really fast dogs on a Monday and they love to race. Our girl Joey is getting pretty quick too!

Cutie Pie is the official bus greeter now, and Cutie Pie in the baby carrier on the small motor cycle ride---she was loving it! Lots of running energy today. Joey is fast! The Big Ball was popping around in the Pond with nose butts from the pack. Tilley is always watching and gets in just at the right time to pop the ball away from shore. Nala dancing at the big Pool, waiting for Uncle Luke to throw her the toy! Hugo was amazing. Hesitant in the big pool at 1st, but his confidence grew and grew. Quick learner for sure! Love the end; sorry, no coffee for you Uncle Luke! All the pups wanted to be in your lap......"you're gonna need a bigger chair!!!" Fun time today!!!

Cute Pie was out the door ready to welcome the Monday pack! There's some pretty fast runners in the Monday pack. Cutie Pie had a nice ride with Luke. Hugo adjusted to his first day at the Farm. I thought Luke and Jason were going to mobbed by happy dogs there at one stage. Love watching the dogs stretch out and chase the trail bikes. I haven’t seen many Vizlas but a beautiful dog, so graceful and fun. All the dogs having fun in water either the dam or the pool. Hugo is another water baby. Wonderful video and excellent farm! These dogs ran toward the entrance gate like it was a Six Flags theme park. No surprise seeing those Viszlas keeping pace with the motorbike. I'm always disappointed to see showline GSDs; not because GSDs aren't lovely, but because the sloping back deformities that have been bred into that line are sooo terrible for their health and longevity, by making them much more prone to hip and back problems. Showline breeders should really start reversing that trend by selecting against it, imho.

They gets baths before they go home. They have it set up like an assembly line and some of the dogs actually sit in line waiting to be next in the tub for Uncle Luke to scrub and massage the shampoo bubbles. I wish I could remember which videos show that because it's co cute.

Hi, Jon...someone from DDFT will probably reply: the house and pool in the backyard were probably existing. They built the outdoor fire pit, I know they built the big mag pool that we see each day. I think* they built the dam, too but I don't know it's history.
