Do a Q&A video! I aways wanted to ask if you find trouble for being left handed. I tend to digest the way people move their hands while drawing, and I thought that if you are left handed and see a right handed person, you could have small differences between the way you approach something like a sphere.

Whats up Brian! Anyone who's reading this, he's one of the beast teachers I ever had, my abilities skyrocketed in a little more than year from "I don't know how to start a figure drawing" to doing a descent quick sketch in 7 minutes with shadow mapping and edges. If you put in the time and stick with it doing his classes, especially where you get a personal critique (which I would recommend to anyone, because feedback is invaluable especially for beginner artists) you can do it too!

Great to see you grow! I know you present primarily conte on newsprint techniques, but would you cover graphite drawing techniques on archival surfaces?

Yes! That's something i'll be adding in the future. This first year was focused on fundamentals so i could build up a good library of fundamentals type demos and throughout our second year i'll be adding more advanced things like figure invention, inking, comic book style figure drawing, and bringing things up to more of a finish on better paper with both charcoal and graphite (separately).

Looking forward to the content. I always want to improve exactly what you are planning to teach. I guess two requests I’d love to see, one - foreshortening which would go with perspective and similarly, how to draw the human form and especially the face in smaller view - as an example I have a series I’m trying to draw out and would love to fit my characters on a page together. Would also love to know more about clothes and how to make it feel not so constricted. Thanks!

Thanks so much! Happy to hear you are always interested in the subjects I'm covering. That's cool there is some synchronicity there. Also, those are awesome suggestions and we'll definitely upload some videos covering those topics in the future. For the time being, I would recommend studying the basic drapery folds. I will do a video on this in the future, but it is something you can look up. That way when you're drawing clothing, you'll be able to know how to approach the different fabric folds. It will also help to do some master studies of drawings or paintings that have great representations of clothing. I'd recommend studying Normal Rockwell and JC Leyendecker. They were both masters of drawing clothing. I hope that helps and thank you for being a part of the community! 🙏✨

@@foundationartschool im really wants to learn from you as in person student but due to finical conditions its so hard to go USA anyways new launches are very nice hope so monthly subscription fit in my budget it would be great chance for me ..... thanks master

@@RiteshBhgt28 i only teach online now. There are a lot of people that want to learn but aren't able to relocate just to study. I created this school specifically with those people in mind. My goal is to make high level art education more accessible and learning art online as close to being here in person as possible.
