Bottomley Enterprises puts on the second annual Mayberry Truck Show to benefit the Brenner Children's Hospital. Several hundred trucks made their way to Mt. Airy North Carolina to show out for a good cause.

This video is exactly why I love watching this channel, it's not about you guys or ego's or brands or whatever, it's about trucks and people, and the lifestyle and camaraderie involved. and finally, a few Mack's, International's and Western Stars and a Cabover Volvo, you should have checked that one out !!! ... I really hope this trend continues ... and you need to start working on what kind of CB radio's and or HAM radio's people are putting in their rig's too !, Thanks again for the great video's and production work you do getting them out on line to everyone... There's a coach building company, Renegade Coachworks, that custom builds motor homes on truck chassis. It would be a great way of going to truck shows, and with a matching trailer you could bring along a SemiCasual/Fitzgerald Peterbilt booth setup for slinging your merchandise. Plus you wouldn't have the expense of a hotel room; at least for one of you.

That gold 359 looks like a old robert Hansen trucking Pete, they were out of Darien Wisconsin, my dad drove a 85 just like that but without the newer vortex air cleaners of course. They pulled reefers and dry vans before transport America bought them out in late 1999 early 2000s!

I personally like the double circle headlights for 379s. An the W990 I thought was ugly at first but the more I seen and done up I kinda like them now. Keep trying too convince my company too buy one for me. Not very successful so far.

Hi Brian The race truck "when in doubt throttle out" you was on the right track but it was actually the water cooler for the brakes to save the brakes from burning out for the duration of the race. Some do use coolers for fuel but they are mostly on jet engine funny truck's like shockwave. The international truck was a transtar 2 so I would guess that it is a mid 80's cab over, paint scheme was beautiful. Old school will always be the better looking truck even in factory form than any modern truck factory or custom. You can not polish muck but you can make it smell beautiful. Moder truck's are vegans 90's to 2000 are vegetarian and the 80's down to the 1900 are meat eaters in my books. Philip Burrows in Overton on Dee, Wrexham, Wales, UK.

I am originally from England and live in Canada. I have never seen a Scania lorry, I see some Volvo. In England all lorries are cab overs.
