The elements you said about this anime felt very similar it mine, with new things I didn’t even realize, like the NHK influencing steins gate with conspiracies and similar influences. I did feel the same about it not being the best anime, but has great life lessons and things to help us get better at life as well. Keep up the great content!

I agree with your thoughts and the ending definitely sticks with you. I watched this when I was younger and more degenerate and it almost feels like the slapstick and dirty jokes are there to pull in the right audience that needs to hear the messages that this show has.

Wow, I didn’t even think about that part of the show leaning into younger audiences even though it’s for adults. If I watched this when I was around 14-18, it would have really changed me into a different person. Especially since I was a shut in at some point as well for half a year when covid hit.

I discovered this series in 2011 and this show predicted my future, back in 2011 I was 16 and young not looking forward to life....now am a 28 year old failure who working retail instead of animation

@@pausepolicy I feel bad am still here am like a failure cant land a simple job, animations are trash yes am trying but like the Ottoman Empire am the sick man of my family Here some things I fail at - still can't buy a house - never had a GF - never had friends* only online without them I would just talk to myself like high school - question my career path* no am not into big tec I love animation, hell I made commissions on my channel like the ghost one. Yes money but no I could do animation for the rest of my life and not feel empty inside if I was a pharmacist, accounted or manager.
