Man, to run out in this field for the first time on Torrent I got similar feelings to when I first started exploring Limgrave. That "ah, finally home..." feeling. I love atmospheric tracks so much these days. Perfect for the workday.

IF you loved this DLC then I really REALLY must recommend you try out Lies of P. It's pretty much a combined love letter to both Sekiro and Bloodborne! It's one of the few games in a souls-like that gets down its own mechanics as well as GETS EASIER as you get further into the new game plusses. Not even joking on that one either. The only thing that might make the new game plusses harder is the fact the enemies do more damage. But by the time you get to new game 3 or new game 4? Shit, you'll have those movesets so memorized like the back of your own hand even a mimic tear summoning newb like me can own the end game bosses WITHOUT using summons. That's just one last thing too is that the DLC in Elden Ring has some beautiful bosses but maybe ones that take it just a TAD too far with the oppressive movesets (Twin Moon Knight, Messmer, Consort Radahn, Finger Boss, heck even the madness boss had some crazy bullcrap to throw out). Lies of P however? FAIREST BOSS DESIGN I'VE SEEN IMHO! I legit love From Software but by golly did they crank up the bullshit factor to a whole new level with the amount of ONE SHOT moves some of these bosses have. Hell, some of these bosses like Messmer or Twin Moon Knight have 2-3 ONE SHOT moves all different ones with different speeds, animations, timing, range, hitbox size, etc. I guess all I'm trying to say is that this DLC was good but not great and I'm really fucking hyped to see what else Neowiz has coming up for us souls-like fans! Oh and I do have to give these positives to the DLC so y'all don't think I'm just a hater or whatever. DLC POSITIVES: Really neat and maze-like legacy dungeons (I love Shadow Keep and is my favorite besides Enir Ilim) Top tier music (I typed this mini novel while listening to this music) New crazy ass enemies (I must admit I hate those dudes with the rings in their hands and do the monkey flips) New weapons (I love the throwing hammer, the fist/feet melee weapons and weapon arts, and the perfume bottles by golly those were much needed/appreciated) New wonderous physics (the "no stamina consumption temporarily" is just a big chefs kiss) Beautiful world layout (the huge vertical aspect of the map I mean) Strange or gorgeous areas that legit get me to stop and stare (Abyssal Woods, Ancient Ruins of Rhia, Finger Ruins ((both of them)), Scaltus Plateau, Jagged Peak, Enir Ilim, Shaman Village (this one and Ancient Ruins of Rhia are tie for "most gorgeous/visually pleasing" area in the game), Cerulean Coast, etc.) DLC NEGATIVES: Series X performance (terrible in open world areas/ large fields meanwhile I get perfect performance in legacy dungeons, caves, gaols, etc.) Some enemies are legit enraging (looking at the dudes with rings in hands who do monkey flips) Some bosses go a tad too far in terms of long and drawn out combos with shorter and shorter windows of attack opportunity (this is not good game design it's artificial difficulty sort of like the entirety of Scholar of the First Sin) Some of the new weapons are just re-skins or have a very "that's it?" feel to their moveset. (I know it looks cool and all but the flower miracle where you drop the beams of white light from the sky? SUCKS. Which is a real kick in the nuts because in Dark Souls 3 that miracle could have hyper armor via the "unfaltering prayer" weapon art they added with chimes. The highest faith miracle you get from the last boss? Same as Elden Stars if not WORSE!) Also, we didn't get any sort of "unfaltering prayer" mechanic back from Dark Souls 3. The OG miracle players who played PVP on DS3 know how good unfaltering prayer was and how badly needed it is. For both sides too. Magic and miracles. They both need either a talisman, wondrous physic, or balanced armor piece that gives unfaltering prayer. We got a catalyst that can cast both miracles and sorceries but no sort of unfaltering prayer? Also, madness got absolutely lackluster miracles that make me slap my forehead since the base games madness miracles are literally BETTER than the DLC ones. How and why From Software? I don't get From Software sometimes.

I know people are not gonna agree with me on this but riding torrent on the field made me wish if the game had a more vastly horizontal fields between areas that are just empty that you could go through for a long time while admiring the world without having to jump over a rock or something like that every 10 seconds, just riding torrent from one region to another.
