I’ve tried to get a new monitor for my bedroom that KEEPS BEING SET OFF! saying that it’s loose !!!! There is nothing loose😡 . I had an incident were a weirdo came to my front door and the camera never recorded the threats he made and police can’t do anything for me!!! They believe me because he’s done it to others but nothing can be done for me😡

All the 1st generation cameras is a scam. I’m warning people all across social medias to not get involved with them. And current customers to not upgrade to the cameras pros 2nd gen. Because you will have to remove all 7 cams to use the 14 2nd gen cameras. They wrote the code like that on purpose to screw the customers out if $1000’s of dollars. I didn’t close to $3000 and they told me i need to remove all 7 cameras if I want to upgrade to 2nd gen cameras pros. That’s insane. I’m still paying the loan on that. Do they expect me to trash my 1st gen cameras in the garbage they are. It even paid off. These cameras are $499.00 each. That’s insane. Now I have to spend $699 x’s 14 = $10,000 worth of cameras. Vivint is a total scam.

​@@danielkinney6325no dude, you're just an idiot. You don't have to swap out all of your cameras. And they are only 399 a pop. The same exact price as the nest IQ camera 4k. You only need to upgrade the cameras you want to upgrade. That's what I did. I have gen 1s and gen 2s on my system. My system works perfectly fine. Just because there's one bad apple (you) does not mean the whole tree is bad.

Vivint "IS NOT" a reputable Security Service Provider... The reason for my thumbs down 👎 review is for this reason (and it's my hope my post 📫 reaches corporate): My family and I have been clients of Vivint for a minimum of 5 years and have faithfully paid for our subscription during that time and have received subpar service for an above market cost for our personal protection. Neither Vivint sales team nor customer service bothered themselves to reach out via email, letter, phone call, or otherwise to invest their time to inquire about our satisfaction with their products since their equipment installation. This event was well aware by Vivint, who knew that our home was protected with outdated hardware that was not in sync with operation software that enabled customer service agents to respond quickly to emergency situations if need be. Vivint was quick to respond with equipment hardware only after learning that my family and I decided to have their competition equipment installed that included cameras, window sensors, carbon monoxide gauges installed that met our needs moving forward. In the long run, Vivint should be seen as an inferior, overpriced, F rated commodity! 😮

These comments saying they love vivint im not buying it. I have 1 Gbps fast fiber optic internet speeds and they use my electricity outlets claiming it’s faster it’s a joke. It’s slow always has been. The worst investment and you get stuck with $4000 worth of crappy equipment

They could at least give customers a trade in because they wrote the software code which makes me have to remove all 7 gen 1 cameras or I cannot get the up to 14 cameras pros Gen 2. This is a total scam.

Exactly. Read my comments on the new pro cameras 2nd gen. They wrote the software. Code to force current customers to remove all gen 1 cameras and doorbell or you cannot use the gen 2 camera pros. It’s a scam. They did that on purpose. I still owe close to $2500 I paid $4000 also. If I had known Vivint’s was going to do this to their current customers I would have never started.

Read my comments on the software code scam. They want you to remove and trash your 6 gen 1 cameras that the smart panel could only use 6 gen 1 cams but to upgrade to the new gen 2 pros you have to delete your investment and trash your gen 1 cams or you cannot use the gen 2 pro cams. That’s a rip off scam forcing their loyal customers to trash their $4000 investment. They will do this again to the gen 2 cam customers when they come out with their. Gen 3 cams. And all you Gen 2 cams customers will feel the same way as I do and all Gen 1 loyal customers feel. This code & software is written like this on purpose. Same smart panel can only add 6 - gen 1 but same panel can add 14 - gen 2 pro cans if I trash all 6 of my Gen 1 cams. BS. Vivint is a greedy SCAM.
