@@Englishpa464 he sang each part during the breakdown of the entire lesson. What Brittany is likely saying is that Keith played it at a normal tempo. The other guy played it at different tempos during both his solo play and singing, and then in the full band. Her analysis, which I agree with, is that the timing was off after Keith, which messes with the play along during practice.

Keep pushing alittle each day. Don't get ahead of yourself. Just learn to play slow. Chord possition the changes. Play slowly change chords slowly. Everything if you do it slow will infact give your brain more time to digest what you practice and then you will learn faster. The slower you play the faster you will learn. And it will click. It's true.

I watched this series almost 2 years ago for the first time. I think originally I could play maybe 3 songs: American Pie, The Goodbye Girl, and The Boxer. But learning these songs (not all of them but a good number of them) really helped with my confidence and determination that even in my late 60s I could finally learn to play more than 3 songs (and not very well) on guitar. After that I realized I could search for some of my favorite songs and actually be taught how to play them. The barr chords are still difficult (actually most are impossible) for me as my fingers are bent kinda funky from arthritis but I am playing dozens of songs now. Even brand new ones. I wish I could thank Keith personally. He changed my music life. Ironically, in just the past month I've learned two of his songs. I'd never even listened to him before or knew what his voice sounded like. I only found them by accident when KZbin was playing something I'd looked for, but then kept on to the next video when I didn't stop it. But it is beautiful and heartwarming: TONIGHT I WANNA CRY and TILL SUMMER COMES AROUND.

Keith, I'm a 64 yr old man. I bought my Alvarez Acoustic guitar when I was in fifth grade. I took lessons for a yr or so back then. I was going to give this guitar to one of 5 grand children, but none of them are interested in it yet. Mid summer I found your lessons. So I began trying to play again. I remembered most of the chords from way back when. My wife got new strings on it for me and signed me up for some lessons with Steve at Hardt's music. I just finished my lessons with Steve due to winter coming and I can't get around real well. I just wanted to Thank You Keith for doing these lessons for us. I wish you all the Best and hope one day i'll be able to play 1/2 as well as you play. Don McRae
