If you want to see him do opera with great Australian opera singer Anthony Warlow with john Farnham Look up GRENADA They have a lot of fun with it Also you'll like this as well john playing jesus musical Look up Gethsemane Also another you might like is john and venetta fields singing Amazing grace I think you'll like these Have safe trip home and enjoy Cheers mate 🦘🇦🇺👍

The Voice has done it again 😊 I love the passion and conviction in this performance - honesty, I think every cover he has done is better than the original. I think you need to listen to him warming up that wonderful voice of his before he goes out and does his concert. He does a cover of black dog. A song By led zeppelin. It’s only audio as a technician hit record while John and his band and back up singers warmed up. It’s an eye opener as to what John is capable off. Especially if you like him hitting those high notes 😂 Love you John. 💕

I can't get enough of John's voice. He was very young here, but an excellent vocalist and he put his soul into it. Kept getting better. Kate Australia😊

John has the most pure voice on the planet. So powerful with a rock edge yet also sweet. Check out Grenada with John singing with Opera singer Anthony Warlow. Combination of comedy and a 8:30 huge vocal performance from them both❤❤

May I second the suggestion of watching John and Anthony Warlow singing Granada from The Main Event concert, and also Gethsemane from Jesus Christ Superstar. It’ll show you how easily John can switch to another musical genre. Even if you can’t continue posting from home, I hope you are still able to keep watching some of our fantastic Aussie talent.❤️

Yes, he certainly has sung some Opera- amazingly well!...try watching 'Granada' with Anthony Warlow. You will just love this performance.

If you want to see an exceptional performance by John Farnham, l would recommend you react to John singing Gethsemane from the Australian production of Jesus Christ Superstar the musical. Alternately, here John sing Granada with Anthony Warlow from The Main Event Concert; it is classic theatre, and John holds his own.

John performed this on a very popular TV Show 'The Don Lane Show' Don was an American who was a huge supporter of John's in those early days when believe it or not John could not get any interest from radio shows to play his music etc mostly due to a very bad manager...John was 30 here but looks 18 lol. He only got 'real' recognition much later after his friend Glen Wheatly offered to manage him etc...and the rest is history. His manager mortgaged his own home to produce John's first really huge number 1 album 'Whispering Jack' from which 'You're The Voice' went to number 1 in many overseas countries and the world welcomed him....

Yes even as a very young man John was epic. His voice, mic technique, range, everything is perfect, even his clarity and diction are next level. You need to do live versions whenever possible. “Let me out” live is awesome with an epic guitar solo, “chain reaction” with amazing harmonica solo, all our sons and daughters, his music from when he was with “the little river band, I could go on for ever. Anything John sings he puts everything into, especially live performances.

Great reaction Thank you. John turned 30 years in 1979. He grew much longer hair in the next decade or so. He always looked and sounded superb -no matter what or when. xoxo

Don't know if you have reacted to the original singers of this song, but if not you must listen to Simon and Garfunkel version. They are the writers and singers.
