Beautiful choice ❤ This duet is something so pure and special. The whole MOTH tour concert is fantastic, and I rewatch it often. I know you said he looks old here, but he performed for another 20 years after this until his early 70's. In fact, if you want to see how good he still was at 70, try looking for a video entitled 70 year old John Farnham gives a vocal master class. He sings Love To Shine from his Whispering Jack ablum, and it is out of this world 😊 Thanks for listening to more John. You are really becoming a fan of him and his music ❤

Hes only 51 Welder 😂😂 and he just got funnier and better with age. He can just go from joking to singing beautifully - not a note wrong - John and Lisa - she was his backing vocalist for over 30 years and would still be today if he ever sung again - just the best. Yes John can be very funny !This song always sends chills through me. All the band have great respect for John and vice-versa. Lisa Edwards is a recording artist in her own right. John only chooses the best to be in his band.

There is another video of this, must be from another night, but Lisa actually stitches him up (doing the bu bwa bwa back at him at the time he is supposed to) and he cracks up and struggles to get his giggling under control. Lisa is actually in a similar league as him, when she lets rip she has the most beautiful and most powerful voice. Lisa, Venetta and Lindsey complement him perfectly as backup singers.

He also does a song with Vanetta field and Lindsay Fields, his other two backing singers in his later career. It was Amazing Grace, Vanetta started it off alone and acapella. Lisa Edwards stayed until she married and had a baby, John called out to her in the audience, and she held up her baby.
