So do you only do little tac’s the whole way around?

Patrick Wright we Tac welded it all in place then went round and welded off every join, after that then we used a grinder and smoothed off the excess weld and move onto body filler.

The car got new body mounts and also 1” body spacers.

I ment did you put new mounts where you cut the cab or is it just resting on the coil brace?

@@AS-uh6cg the cab sits about 2” higher than the coil brace, it is not required to put any extra mounts in, i know many people do add more but the engineer advised against it as it would put unknown loads on the cabin from the chassis. It is only 200 odd mms past the last existing factory mount.
