this was the first video i watched, I only subscribed once I watched the compressor build. Why didn't you use the sandblaster to remove the paint and why don't you use primer before applying colour? You won'y get orange peel or fish eyes. Anyway, I'm enjoying your content. Subscribed and liked.

@@amyasseektruth8246 It is not orange peel. He used paint with "Hammerschlag" effect that gives scaly appearence. It can be applied with or without primer.

Это не восстановление, это просто перекрасить по старой краске. Перемотка не выполнена, шасси надо в пескоструй или электрохим.способом чистить как и все остальные мет.детали. Как хобби сойдет, но назвать это профессиональным восстановлением сложно.

I'm going to tell my age here but I remember one of these when it first came out back in '89. A decent welder, and no complaints but it can't beat the Hobart I bought at the same time which I still use to this day. The voltage regulator kept going bad and had to replace them every few years. But it still held up and worked for on-location welds. Until it fell off the back of the bucket truck going down the highway lol. It probably still could've worked but I didn't want to risk it.

Paint will come out better if you clean the surface before painting. Fish eyes are caused by oils on the surface

Fantastic job, I’m sure it will last for many more years. The difference in size between that and my 200 amp inventor machine is pretty substantial. However, you can fix yours if something goes wrong where I wouldn’t have a clue where to start.

Just because the paint is meant for “tools” doesn’t mean it doesn’t need primer, that definitely needed primer and filler in some cases. Other than that great job!

One thing I noticed either you did not clean thoroughly enough before painting or there is no filter keeping the compressor oil out of the spraypaint.
