Welding Turntable Part 4

In this video Rob will embark on creating a welding turn table from things found lying around his garage and around the Longevity shop. In part one he will plasma cut rim to create a base for the turning mechanism. Also Rob will go over the theory of the creation of the welding turntable and how it will work. I think I would have made a removable cross arm table (coupla three bolts dropping through the rim. It looks to me like the circumference is going to get cumbersome when tig welding small diameter projects. By having it easily removable you could comfortably do both small and big. Seems a bit much to bend over now much less with extensions in the arms. Liking the basic concept so far. Doug
