Welker Farms Inc Yeah we do alright in the farming sector. Eight out of the top ten largest cattle stations in the world are down here. Anna Creek Station is our biggest at 6 million acres. I think our biggest cropping Station is Cubby Creek Station at around 230,000 acres.

Nick, your videos are so cool. I miss the farm life, so I live that life through watching all of your videos over and over again. Your perspective and camera placement is amazing. I think my favorite part of this video is when the operator pulls out into the field, unfolds the wings, and cracks that throttle in time with the upbeat of the music! Perfect timing! Thank you for creating these videos.

Thanks 6.5 Creedy! Glad you watched. It is exciting to know that this produce will make its way around the world to homes. Farming is the best! BTW how do you like your Creedmoor? I've got a 6.5 grendel that I've enjoyed for many years but have decided to change over to the 6.5 .260 so I'm selling my grendel ammo and barrel. The Creedmoor is pretty much the same platform.
@rc31408 жыл бұрын
Welker Farms Inc I really like my 6.5 ,we have three shooting ranges on our farm that go from a strictly pistol range to 950yrd range. The long distance range is the coolest because it's setup on all natural terrain in a little valley. I also have a Remington 700 "308" like most everyone else but my shootin buddy "he also works on the farm"and I are always trying to do something different than everyone in our area. I'm wanting too build a 260rem in an AR platform next because having AR's in 223/556 -243-308 -204 just isn't enough hahaha. Thank you for all that you do ☕️🍩cheers.

@WelkerFarms8 жыл бұрын
+6.5 Creedy sounds a lot like ours! I've got a friend who is our gun guy and he's got us into long range shooting. We built a nice range out to 1100 and lots in between. I really like the 260, it reaches out farther a lot better than my Grendel and with the same 123gr too. Last year I jumped on a black Friday deal and got a desert tech srs chambered in 260. It's a nasty good platform but $$$ too. I don't shoot as much as I'd like but now and then we get out. Great hobby and hopefully under a trump administration it'll get cheaper too!

"Stunning Drone Footage" is purely an understatement! Astounding is more like it. Whoever piloted the drone has some serious flight skills. Especially the shot of under the auger, between the two moving machines. Just GREAT! That's to say nothing of the talented editing and music selection. Very well done. Please continue posting. Will keep watching. Cheers.
@WelkerFarms8 жыл бұрын
Thank you! Very kind words. I used to be pretty nerdy and played a lot of video games so that could be where the skills come from. Also I went to school in aviation and have my pilots license so that could help as well! The phantom 3 is a great drone but pretty sensitive to any little thumb stick movement. I flew the phantom 4 and it was a world of difference in smoothness and agility. I'll do my best to come out with new stuff from time to time. Can't say I'll go all out like this last video but you never know.

Awesome video and hats off to everyone in the video and the makers. Reading through the posts and some people wondering why you are using older tractors, I had to throw in my opinion which is coming from an old Canadian farm boy who happens to be a licensed farm equipment service tech. Farmers that have and maintained older large equipment models of any sort are able to get quick technical information and repair themselves or the nearest equipment repair shop that can get things paired quickly. The new computer controlled equipment have the farmers handcuffed to specific dealers with the propietatry software.NEW is not always better. Thumbs up
@WelkerFarms7 жыл бұрын
+Murray Halbert Very well said and exactly how we feel! Some machines we do go newer with such as sprayers and combines but tractors we can save on because they don't wear out except for normal parts needing replaced. Combines get thin in areas and become a repair nightmare so newer is the only option. It is an ever changing industry and each year somehow someway it changes for the worse and better!

It is challenging to work while filming and more so frustrating when the perfect shot happens and I don't have a camera haha!

I know what you talk about haha, during the harvest many foxes and eagles go out to hunt around the machines, when you should be taking pictures or recording, you are working, so is our life

What I get now. The double rainbows at the beginning intro is real. Sorry thought a little cgi with the lightning. Cool capture. Have a great Christmas and a happy new year. Stay safe and have fun.

Love the way you guys operate. You don't need the newest machinery to be successful, you just need the right machinery. Why buy a brand new semi when an older unit at a quarter of the price does exactly what you need?
@WelkerFarms7 жыл бұрын
That's exactly right! Not that we don't like new but why pay all that money on it when you can get by with slightly old or really old and then put the cash back into the farm in Land payments.
