Watch highlights from my well-being begins in the nervous system workshop I recently offered. A free session as part of a community project. I covered the main points in the time I had. I hope there is something here for you that is helpful.

Greetings from Berlin. I've had a stiff neck, affecting nerves in the arms, or inducing little spasms, either in the neck or indeed other areas down the spine, since several chiropractic appointments this May. There is a bit of grinding when I turn my head, but this varies, depending upon tension. He twice adjusted the atlas, and it appears this "correction" has simply accentuated imbalances that were already present, or even that my body is actively resisting the adjustment. It's basically a matter of having a sensation of extreme tightness at the base of the head and the consequent jitters below. I feel as though I'm trapped in a loop, the symptoms inducing anxiety, which in turn reinforces the symptoms. I'm hoping to retrain my body to adapt to the new position, doing a lot of personalised pandiculation movements, but it always comes back. I realise that this is not the place for medical advice; perhaps I'm just externalising my anxiety in the hope of moving towards doing some kind of somatic work or getting help with it.

Instead of adjusting the bones, you want to hydrate the body's fascia. The SomaSensing way is to soften the areas of stiffness through coaxing, soothing movements

@@SomaSensing Chiro worked great when I was 30-35, but doing it again for the first time after 30 years was evidently a mistake. Never again. Don't know if I'll be able to pandiculate my way out of this, but I'll try.

@@robertalenrichter Apart from pandiculation, there is unwinding and coaxing. You can try a floor practice. You can access a free session here www.pandiculate.com/offers/Bm67YikH/checkout
