I've used several chainsaws and I use Husqvarna now and have for several years. I never had a stihl but know people who have. Like everything you love it or hate it.

@TABrown-xh7xc I've used stihl, husky, Husqvarna, and poulan. IMO, Stihl is the most dependable and easiest to maintain. Mostly due to dealer support.

There's nothing better than a chain saw with a sharp chain, starts when you need it to, and stays running. I have an old Husqvarna that I dread every time I need to cut or trim some limbs. It runs great when it runs but I have to hold my mouth right and say a prayer each and every time I need it. I will be interested to see how your new Stihl works out.

@@auralsonicwaves7170 I know exactly what you mean. I have used my share of Poulan chainsaws. We used to call the PULL ONS because that's what you had to do to get them to start.
