Another game, another caufield goal, and 2 posts aswell. He honestly has the potential to get 50+ this season. Also, would love to see Slaf go with Dach and Newhook when he comes back with Kapanen on the first line. Think it would help balance out the lines and give Slaf a chance to get back on track with new linemates and Kapanen a chance to play with the stars, cause he has potential

I actually kinda mess with that, I could see how that would be better over for the top 6 development.

@ Caufield has not looked the same, and Dach NEEDS a good finisher to perform, which he doesnt have on the armia-newhook line. It makes so much sense to me

Yea D usually take longer to develop. But make no mistake, we have an unbelievable young D core - Hutson, Guhle, Mailloux, Struble, Reinbacher, Xhekaj, Barron. When these guys are fully developed, that is when I think we will become contenders

Caulfield could have easily had a hat trick last night. A little better conversion rate on Hutson's plays and he could have been close to a point a game so far

Pascal Leclaire at La Poche Bleue (Podcast with Latendresse and Lapierre) "suggested" to bench Caufield to make an example... Caufield may have some cons but benching him will be just a lack of control and a death sentence to Marty. We need offensive and it's not without Cole that can help the Montréal Canadiens. Leclaire should just focus on the essential instead of saying full of craps.

These people are paid to say the dumbest shit LOL. Lets bench the player who's scored 30% of our goals GREAT IDEA

Living in Britain when a football squad are continuously hit by numerous injuries we've learnt that many problems arise from poor coaching & less than elite medical & masseur staff. Of course teams can be hit by "bad luck" with injuries but usually there is additional unseen by the fans troubles. Teams where these problems reoccur yearly should definitely re-evaluate the backroom staff. Thanks JH, i'm loving ur posts as usual so keep safe.

Omg everybody was complaining about Caufield last year but it was his first entire season last year and improved his entire game. I love his switch of number to 13 . I don't really care if he hits 40 or 50 , it'd be great but just his progression is impressive. I hope he can be healthy and just seeing him score and smile gives something else to our team . Let's go Habs !!

We could also see the team's first 40 goal scorer since Vincent Damphousse during the 95-96 season.

everyone forgets about the goals caufield was scoring in their playoff run, he was putting shots over Lehners shoulder the same way 3-4 years ago

Cole's not just going to break the 50 goal plateau, he's going to shatter it! I'm thinking 55-60 is an accurate prediction. He's proving that last year's goal total was 28 because he wasn't fully 100% recovered from his shoulder surgery. In 2022/23 he scored 26 goals and was on pace for 46 that year. I've never watched a player with such accuracy and precision with a wristshot.

@LastLetterisZed7022 күн бұрын
@@johnporter4718 That's it John - 30 goals? Don't you think you're low-balling his total, a little bit? Cole already has 8 goals in 9 games and they play Seattle in their next game.

If he stays healthy he could become one of the great Canadiens goalgetters.
@benoitrobitaille52352 күн бұрын
Even if he doesn’t he might still be among the best, lots of legends in Montreal’s history, but with short careers or with split stats playing for other clubs. 270 goals makes you 9th in habs history just behind Henri Richard. Gallagher might reach the top15 this season believe it or not.
