If you think about it, this is better than having a continuation. There’s not much you can do if they continued from where you left off before. They already fell in love, got their happy ending and a baby. What more do you want? After that it would just be them being all lovey dovey, getting into arguments and getting back together in the end. This is so much better and more exciting. It spices up the story line and keeps you interested. I haven’t seen this done before and I can’t wait to watch it. I will judge it after the first episode.

For anyone who haven’t watched season 1: In Season 2 they have showed similar story in a parallel dimension (world). In season 1 the female lead was wasn’t famous when the story began, in season 2 they changed the plot a bit so the female lead is shown to be already famous. They story is very similar so I think you are not missing out the story from season 1 since it is like, they started the story over. I watched season 1 after watching season 2. Both the season made sense even if they are not watched in order. I think they chose to do a similar story in a parallel dimension to show that no matter which dimension it is they are meant to fall in love. PS: I saw many comments asking where to watch season 1. I watched season 1 on Netflix. Season 2 is available with English subtitles on KZbin. ( I liked season 2 better)

Obviously that is completely beyond the line of ok. But she does put him in his place and leave him for it. and not just for a little bit. Combined with the fact that he really does learn/change plus she knows he has NO emotional intelligence because of how he was raised; I think the fact she EVENTUALLY forgives him and they try again is ok. Also I ushually get really mad when the FL walks away for some REALLY stupid reason because they dont want the ML do anything actually bad, but they want a reason for them to be apart. This is the first time I have seen one where they were not to scared to make him make a BIG mistake. I like that her prince charming is not Practically perfect.

So guys just a heads up for those who are very confused. THIS IS NOT A CONTINUATION OF SEASON 1. This 'Season 2' is basically a different route of ling yi zhou and xia lin's love story or as what they say, a parallel universe. And by different route, if you guys still remember from season 1, ying zhou faked xia lin's medical records as his strategy to make his mumu closer to him. But for this season's timeline, this would be a route wherein ling yi zhou did not pursue with the 'fake her medical records' strategy (you can go back to 9:09 as evidence) and instead used the rumors about him and her as an alternative strategy to pull his mumu to his side.
