Watching Greg Blanchard at my favorite fishing spot after Bible study; couldn’t have been a better experience for me this morning. Thank you for motivating me to keep pursuing this sport, the positivity that this community brings is overwhelming. Be blessed.☕️

Well said and you have your priorities correct. Amen! Greg has such a great channel. When I was heavy into fishing videos I had a ton of people I watched...that list is down to 2. Greg and Brandon Miller. Anyways have a blessed day!

Honestly i'm not even a kayak fisherman, I mostly boat fish, but almost everybody I have met or talked to in this community has been great...Also the comment section of Greg's channel is the only place on youtube that I have never seen anyone argue or be ugly to each other and I love it! It's all positivity and people trying to help each other...I wish more places were like that
@jaecubed592 Жыл бұрын
@@brucepreston3927 Basically for the past 4 years all I fish is my 1.5 acre pond. Lol I love fishing but that isn't even why I continue to watch these videos. Greg has class... he keeps all the curse words out of his video...he has great cinematography... And I love the camaraderie with his group of friends. It's almost like watching Little House on the prairie. Lol but honestly this is just a great all around channel.

Seeing your boat in all that grass and knowing how scared of snakes you are i can't believe how you just jumped in it in the dark. I once was fishing late one evening and had this little one man wooden boat. It had the bait box behind the seat and then an area just big enough to put a tackle box between the bait box and the back of the boat. Well after taking a break i was about to get back in the boat and i just noticed something out of the corner of my eye move. It was enough to make me look closer. Sure as can be a snake had gotten into the boat on top of the tackle box. Man just the idea of thinking about being in that boat and reaching back to get a piece of tackle with that snake being curled up on it. I still shiver when i think about it.

I only mention because it’s when you start off 15:26 But I find when you push the scupper plugs in more from the near the middle on both sides it seals up nicely and I don’t get water in like that anymore. Was a big deal for me because the water is getting colder and would shorten my season. But with motor you’ll probably get splash over still. Let me know if notice a difference.

I’m probably close to your size and am leaning towards the 10.5. I don’t care about any slight speed difference and don’t carry an abundance of gear. There’ll be plenty of storage in the 10.5 for me. Thanks for the response and I’ll look forward to your reviews of both lengths. Right now my OT Salty is fine.

Awesome video….last year you rocked the Fantasista, this year has been all Winxh rods. Any preference on those?
@GregBlanchardFishing Жыл бұрын
thanks man, fantasistas are mainly for my 7'5'' and 7'6'' applications like jigs, punching, etc. Big thing with the winchs' are for mostly moving baits like chatterbaits, crankbaits, and some topwater. The winchs have more of that parabolic bend that really keeps the fish pinned and lets them at those moving baits better too
@anthonyvespia6662 Жыл бұрын
Greg, this is really awesome, because it's so different and it's Clearlake. "FYI" Not sure when Damian fished. But he caught a 9.5, two 4 to 5 pounders, and a 6.5. So there out there, go get em Greg!! 🎣 🛶 🌊
