I appreciate you showing different techniques and explaining everything you are doing. I've always been a sit and fish guy. Never had anyone break things down like you have. Asian carp has become a "preferred" bait on the lower Wabash. Blues here love it, stays on hook really good, "in fact, you nearly have to cut it off to change it", and keeps easily 7 to 10 days in a fridge with minimal ice on it.

Another GREAT VIDEO Micka. I am hoping that the tropical storm remnants we are getting later this week and the influx of cooler water will be the start of the fall transition. I have done kinda ok with commercial cured carp in the past, but Skipjack, Bluegill and Chicken (in that order) have produced much better results for me personally. But I do have to admit that carp stays on the hook almost to good, it can be hard to get it off at the end of the day.
@mickaburkhart14Ай бұрын
@@HomesickforAlaska thank you. Yeah I'm hoping rain and cooler weather helps cool this water down. So hopefully these fish will get to biting again. Or better anyway.
