On his deathbed he was having trouble finding something up his alley on the tv, well I put up your Itty Bitty Series because he loved boats and fishing, well he made my aunt watch it when we left all the way to the end of the series. I did it bois. The itty bitty series from this channel is what inspired me to get off my ass sell my gaming PC and get out doors. I’ve lost 85 pounds and just got my first fishing pole this week. I don't understand how everyone when they use a spinning set up is left handed but when you go to casting it HAS to be right handed... nope I'm left handed retrieve either way because i like the rod held in my right hand. but to each is own i guess. love both you guys! Norm come back!

Agreed. Anyone who grew up using spinning reels is naturally comfortable using a left hand retrieve baitcasting reel. They just want right-hand retrieve because it's the industry standard for baitcasters.

@@Raeilgunne Interesting. Your preferences are opposite of most peoples. There's really no wrong or right reel orientation & I know everyone's different. I was just pointing out that most people who prefer right hand baitcasters have that preference because it's industry standard just like most of the same people are totally comfortable with left hand spinning reels for the same reason.

I’m right handed and I use a left hand bait caster. It’s because you don’t have to switch hands when you cast. The odd numbers are left-handed reels with Shimano

I switched to left handed reels last year after 30 years of right handed.. best decision ive ever made. No more switching hands after casting is a game changer. Allows more casts per minute and helps heaps in current dealing with the trolling motor and whatnot. Took like 5 fishing days to get normal with it. Might want to consider switching especially on baitcasters.

I'm a right handed fisherman who prefers a left hand cranking reel, it gives me better control of the rod to manipulate the bait and when casting along the bank, brush busting, i don't need to switch hands to cast and crank!!!

i prefer fishing left handed even as a righty, alot of tournament fishers do the same. i learned righty and it was hard to switch but the amount of time and effort you save not switching hands when you cast is worth it, more casts = more fish!

Left hand retrieve bait casters are the bomb. You cover a lot more water over the course of a day, not having to switch hands every cast. Also I am a muskie fisherman so I fish both right hand and left hand retrieve, because my hand get really tired retrieving large baits so switching retrieves gives my hand a rest.

AYO you came a long way from a camera man for LoJo. This is the best fishing channel on KZbin. Please consider taking the Orange Life boat down the Tennessee River from Guntersville to Mobile Bay and stay on the boat and anchor in coves at night. The locks are easy, my buddy just did it single handed. Build a rear platform a foot above water. Mount a 9.9 on it for backup. Pull one of the Mud Boats to make food runs in the towns along the way. You can find Diesel at the docks, plus carry extra in jugs strapped to the top of the boat. You could take the Itty Bitty instead. Both are perfect boats for river cruising. The Diesel would be much easier on fuel. Plus the Life boat is bigger to tack more people. Davey would be great on the trip. I believe my buddy said it took him 4-6 days to make the trip from Guntersville to Mobile. Then rent a car and drive home to get the truck and trailer. Leave the boat at Fairhope Marina on the East side of Mobile Bay. He gained a bunch of Subscribers that trip. He cruised at 5-8 mph, 6-10hrs a day. Best trip ever, plus he caught some nice fish from his Shanty Boat. 🇺🇸🦅🐟🐊🚤
