If anyone needs an explanation why "laker's" are so scratched up, look no further. They are designed to just fit through the Welland Canal and the Soo locks to maximize cargo capacity. It's always fascinating to watch them go through a lock in either direction. Thanks for the video.

It's interesting that a ship that proudly displays the title "Canada Steamship Lines" works in Canada, making profits for a Canadian owner, yet is registered in the Bahamas, to avoid paying taxes in Canada.
