Better experience, from getting in your car, driving to your favorite package store, actually finding it on the shelf for a realistic price when you want to restock, getting home, actually enjoying even the neck pour, mouth feel, big taste, complete finish, and repeating it until you have to restart the process...is Old Forester 1920. Antique 107 is good, but it isn't worth the extra hassle, time finding it, or money paid over MSRP.

Have had both the Weller Reserve and Antique. Now to be shameless, I would rather have Cooper Craft 100 proof for 30 bucks than either of those. Look it up ---- its a George Foreman distillery and they make a 86 filtered whiskey [ smooth summer whiskey ] and the 100 proof non filtered. The 100 is hot to me when first opened, so I let it sit while and some serious Old Forester goodness develops.

I love me some Prohibition Style, but NO FRIGGIN WAY would I agree that it would top the Antique 107. That particular Weller is one of the few whiskies that made me smile with every sip. Do these vary from the top to the middle to the bottom of the bottle...who knows? Do they vary enough from year to year?...I would assume. Would my palate betray me, and crown the OF?...another definite possibility! One of these days, I will perform my own taste-off, and get back to you!!!

First time watching this video. It was pretty clear from your description the 1920 was on (viewer’s) right. Ive had both in the past week, but not side-by-side (they must hang with different crowds of beatches at the beaches). Anyway, I like both, and it’s more dependent on my mood which I prefer. I think the Weller Antique is actually closer in flavor/style to the OF 1910. Might be fun to get those two together for a consolation taste-off.
