As an American, I had no idea what "HEUGH!" was until someone yelled it out. We'd have spelled it "HUH!"

Indeed and point well made and taken! My wife is American so I have a little insight into the whole transatlantic dual accent thing going on :-) I think I went for the Heugh as it naturally brings more of a guttural response from people rather than potentially the inquisitive or bemused, huh? As there was no time to drill the audience on contextual interpretation (!!), and as I am a teacher who works a lot with kids, I defaulted to the quickest route to get the desired result! Huh would have been a much more elegant solution, especially as it appears throughout the song on the projection!! Heugh did the trick on this occasion!
