Wellhouse leisure are head & shoulders above the rest! We've owned our Ford Trento Sport for 8 months now & the best decision we made, was buying it from Wellhouse, after spending over 2yrs researching campervan. I cannot praise them enough! Greetings from Poland. That was a fascinating video. Wellhouse Leisure are certainly the place to go for a van conversion. Their facility is superb and everything is made to the highest quality. I was very impressed with the London Taxi conversion. Are you tempted to trade Maggie in for this model? I've now reached the end of my journey through your back catalogue. A million thanks to the three of you for making my journey so enjoyable. I do miss the UK a little bit on occaisions. When I feel a bit low, all I have to do is watch one of your vlogs.You have brought a huge amount of sunshine into my life with all of your wonderful videos. Just picked up our Wellhouse conversion last Thursday, absolutely thrilled with it and their service has been beyond reproach. Wish I’d watched this video before staying at the Wayfare hotel, you’re dead right about the noise. There’s an Ibis styles hotel down the road from it which is much better but we thought we’d try something different, wish we’d stuck with the ibis

@@MikeandTriciaOotnAboot we chose the ford transit Tourneo custom in long wheelbase. We did a three day trip back south from Barnsley to try it out and we are off to Cornwall for two weeks starting next week. After that it’ll be advocating trips with a longer trip to Northumbria or Yorkshire around September. We plan to be in it as often as possible

Hi I bought a magnetic self adhesive strip one metre. Haven't tried it yet. I see things that might come in handy in the van all the time band buy it . Though this was only £1.75 on ebay so it didn't break the bank. The amount of stuff that I don't actually need or use is unreal have a good day.

Interesting you say Wellhouse are trying the Toyota Proace electric out with weights, considering converting this type of power train too. On Children in Need on Friday Wellhouse had donated a converted Proace electric for them. They got on with that quickly. I was in Wellhouse a week ago and never saw it……!

Interesting video. I was seriously tempted to get a new van from Wellhouse but decided on a new conversion on a used van from a local converter to save a sizeable chunk of cash. They have a good operation there and its good to see that carried through to their customer relationship. ... now, where can I get my horn converted to an ice-cream van tune? 🤣

Hi Donald, Wellhouse do used van conversions too, its a good option as you say to save a bit of cash as these started life as commercial vehicled built to go round the clock a few times. It would certainly turn heads having an ice cream tune horn 🤣

Hari Om The nuts and bolts of vanning! I had been checking out the LEVC range - they look smart, but quite compact internally, though that conversion looks to be making the best of it. If and when I ever get around to making the move, my preference would be for a full EV... but the cost... :*{ Anyway, glad Maggie passed the test and you learned a couple of things too - bonus! How did you find you’re camping trip without Keira ? As I type we are parked up on Skye, wild camping, I wish someone could invent a hairdryer that doesn’t need electricity 😂 Our cocker spaniel has very thick coat and he is like a sponge 🧽 It’s difficult getting everything dry 🙃 keep well, both x

We missed her terribly, but got a doggie fix from a couple of subscribers 😀. Keira has same problem, hair driers take a lot of power so no 12v ones, just need to towel down as best you can. Hope you are enjoying Skye, try to stay dry 🤣

Can I ask is there a charge for the habitation check? I asked VW if the California Ocean requires check and they don’t as all factory fitted 🤷‍♀️

Hi Jeanette, I would be gobsmacked if the VW did not need a habitation check, it may be factory fitted but gas, electricity and general safety and wear and tear should be checked. Yes there is a charge as there is quite a bit of time spent, it was £144 but well worth it.

I've never seen so much disorder in a workshop.. For the gas there is just a hose that you change every 10 years.. The carbon monoxide alarm you can test yourself.. For electrical items. Do you get your home tested every year? All low current stuff... Of course it's your money..

Mark, seriously? they were very well organised, everything in its place. Sure other places could do it, but Wellhouse built it and know it inside out and did a really good job.
