Being a wellingtonian growing up when this was in its prime ws an amazing atmosphere to witness. This was an awesome race battle by Rodger and Wayne. Rodger died on 18 September 1993 aged 39.

I remember there was a white OSCA Capri at the Dunedin festival week Fryatt street , quarter mile sprints in 1983 , It was very loud and impressive. I wonder if it was the one in this video?
