Lol, I wish it was that easy but had to take a few looks at the schematic to make an educated guess

Good job! It's funny how customers prefer plumbers or electricians to install equipment rather than certified tech and than spend more to fix the issues .

I worked on a Duke hot food well that was wired i correctly. It was a 120/208 volt single phase. 120 was for the lighting and controls, and 208 was for the elements, some one wired it backwards as the lights were getting 208, and the elements had 120 volt. Was a simple fix. Looks like yours was simpke as well, basicslly somene wired it for one circuit breaker, as supposed to be designed for 2 circiuts. I worked on a lennox furnace that had 2 60 amp breakers on tbe furnace itself, some one jumped both circuits together in the furnace so they could use one 100 amp breaker and one 3 wire se cable going from furnace to the breaker box. Needless to say, this is very dangerous, and the furnace had a fire inside where the breakers were. I changed out the furnace, ran 2 60 amp rated 3 wire service cables to the panel, installed 2 60 amp breakers and all was to code. Goes to show you that you should never cut corners when it comes to electrical wiring.

If one of the middle sections aren’t warming enough would it be the heating element? Also how would you replace one?

My guess would be the tstat, but too many variables depending on make/model etc

They used mc cable that caused the issue

Very confusing at first, but when the appliance has its own dedicated power source, problem solved
