I am asthamatic patient - from childhood I have tried all thing but didn't work - The only way to get cure is - cycling - daily 45 minutes in morning and 45 minutes in evening . That is the best way to stronger the lungs and its 100% works for asthamatic patients . But just know one thing start slowly slowlyv- first from 10 minutes afte 15 days you go for 45 minutes . And in winter always wear Sweater bcoz in cold it's necessary

Had an appendectomy done on me .... nurses gave me one of those breathing devices. I could hit the top of the gauge and hold it there consistently... the nurse praised me and said she had never seen anyone hit the top so effectively after surgery. I said impressive for a chronic weed smoker huh? She instantly frowned and gave me a real condescending lecture. She was one of those rough african nurses :S

My uncle who has COPD got Pneumonia and surgeons cleaned out his lungs 2 yrs ago.He did therapy. It has been two years and he tells people that he still has weekly therapy for his lungs. I am starting to suspect that he doesn't want my aunt, my father sister, to help with the caregiving of both their parents. Is there such a weekly ongoing therapy when he had this done two years ago?
