Jāvēd Ahmed Ghāmidī (Urdu: جاوید احمد غامدی) (born April 7, 1952) is a Pakistani Muslim theologian, Quran scholar, Islamic modernist, exegete and educationist. He is also the founding President of Al-Mawrid Institute of Islamic Sciences.
Ghamidi's conclusions and understanding of Islam, including the Sharia, has been presented concisely in his book Mizan with the intention of presenting the religion in its pure shape, cleansed from tasawwuf, qalam, fiqh, all philosophies and any other contaminants.

After listening to Engineer Muhammad Ali Mirza for more than a year, I have come to conclusion that Ghamidi is way ahead in knowledge and practical Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad SWW. If you ask yourself, which kind of behavior was preached by Muhammad SWW, given two option. 1 Ghmidi, 2 Muhammad Ali Mirza. I’m pretty sure you know the answer. Why have you stop researching on authentic hadiths? Has Allah approved all thats written in the hadith books? Many fables and stories still exist in these books. Narratives build by Ummayads, Abbasids, Sufis are still in so called authentic hadith. We continuously need to evaluate truth. Learn to appreciate researches of human beings, all this knowledge is knowledge of Allah. Don’t become blind behind muslims scholars. Listen to all sides and hadiths, and then compare if anything violates Quran or not. When you’d do it, you will find the truth.

Sahih bhukari 4108 Main Mauwiya bin Abu Sufyan nay Kaha Abdullah bin Omar r.a ko main Tumhary baap sey zada khilafat ka haqdar hon. Jo log munkir hain Sahih Bhukari aur Sahih Muslim ki sahih Ahadis Kay wo nasbi hain wo bughaz karty hain Hazrut Ali r.a sey aur shia ki nafrat main Sahih Ahadis Kay munkir hain.

معاویہ اور عمرو بن العاص خود اس حدیث سے واقف تھے، پڑھے مسند احمد 12347 غامدی منکر حدیث ہے۔ کرو اسکا بھی انکار حدیث: محمد بن عمروبن حزم سے مروی ہے، وہ کہتے ہیں: جب سیدنا عمار بن یاسر ‌رضی ‌اللہ ‌عنہ شہید ہوئے تو سیدنا عمر و بن حزم ‌رضی ‌اللہ ‌عنہ ، سیدنا عمرو بن عاص ‌رضی ‌اللہ ‌عنہ کے پاس گئے اور انہیں بتلایاکہ سیدنا عمار ‌رضی ‌اللہ ‌عنہ شہید ہوگئے ہیں، جبکہ اللہ کے رسول ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وآلہ ‌وسلم نے فرمایا تھاکہ ایک باغی گروہ عمار کو قتل کرے گا۔ یہ سن کر سیدنا عمروبن عاص ‌رضی ‌اللہ ‌عنہ گھبرا گئے اور اِنَّا لِلّٰہِ وَاِنَّا اِلَیْہِ رَاجِعُوْنَ پڑھتے ہوئے سیدنا معاویہ ‌رضی ‌اللہ ‌عنہ کے پاس پہنچ گئے، سیدنا معاویہ ‌رضی ‌اللہ ‌عنہ نے ان کی حالت دیکھ کر پوچھا: تمہیں کیا ہوا ہے؟ انہوں نے بتلایا کہ سیدنا عمار ‌رضی ‌اللہ ‌عنہ شہید ہوگئے ہیں، سیدنا معاویہ ‌رضی ‌اللہ ‌عنہ نے کہا: عمار قتل ہوگئے تو پھر کیا ہوا؟ سیدنا عمرو ‌رضی ‌اللہ ‌عنہ نے کہا:میں نے رسول اللہ ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وآلہ ‌وسلم کوفرماتے سنا ہے کہ ایک باغی گروہ عمار کو قتل کرے گا۔ یہ سن کر سیدنا معاویہ ‌رضی ‌اللہ ‌عنہ نے ان سے کہا: تم اپنے پیشاب میں پھسلو، کیا ہم نے اس کو قتل کیاہے؟ اسے تو علی ‌رضی ‌اللہ ‌عنہ اور ان کے ساتھیوں نے مروایا ہے، وہ لوگ انہیں لے آئے اور لا کر ہمارے نیزوں یا تلواروں کے درمیان لا کھڑا کیا۔

Ghamdi: Ameer Muawiya had to choose between monarchy and anarchy, that's why he choose monarchy. Too bad no one told this to Umar bin Abdul aziz. He should have followed Ghamdi's logic as well instead of following Islamic principles. If peaceful transfer was his priority, Muawiya should have handed over the Caliphate to Imam Hussain as per the deal he agreed in Sulah e Hasan. If peaceful transfer was important, Muawiya should not have rebelled against Khalifa e Rashid Hazrat Ali.

Engr. Sb, you should learn how to show difference of opinion in rationalize way. It is possible Ghamdi sb wrong but he explained all things in excellent way but instead of rational reply you dropped the atom bomb. It shows you can't have counter thesis. It seems a more political then religious issue but you make it religious matter and exploit people emotions.

Humble suggestion to Ghamdi Saheb.. Please do not get involved in answering anyones criticism. Continue your good work on Islam according to your own knowledge and understanding of the holy Book and do not waste time and effort in controversy. Other scholars are free to agree or disagree with your interpretations...They should also concentrate on their work and leave it to the general Muslims to accept or reject any version.

Mirza never listen to the original lecture even if he listened I doubt that his ability and intelligence is that high to understand the point view of Ghamidi Sahib.
