Mehhh yeah maybe in the next few years, china are not quite ready too invade Taiwan and cause ww3. But they will be very soon. Like this is certain to happen and most of us are going to die it's that real. Since all this, I have started digging a hole to make a nuclear Bunker, I'm stacking up on supplies come join me if you like. Every school in the UK should be fully Infantry trained by the age of 18. Just carrying 25% of the weight required

@@sebby324 Vastly dominated by private schools though, out of the 3500 state schools only 60 have a CCF. That being said many people at state schools do have access to an AFC (or equivalent) but they are no where near as popular as CCF is and less accessible. Neither of these organsiations get you anywhere near being "fully infantry trained" though, and don't cover most of the syllabus to pass basic infantry training that all soliders are required to go through. I think they are certainly benefical for the people who choose to take part in such cadet organsiations but they aren't of any use to the armed forces though

@@bog123 I'd argue involvement in a CCF is actually incredibly useful if you wish to join the military. A Cadet Force teaches you discipline, leadership, uniform standards, drill, first aid, weapons handling and tactics, all of which give you a boost over other recruits in basic.

@@joshuahicks4574 No yeah it definitely allows those who have done it to certainly have a confidence boost in the early stages of training but it becomes irrelevant terribly quickly. But at the same time there's a reason people are told to not say they were a cadet when in training and it's cause they will be made to do everything or give demonstrations as they already have an idea of what to do. But unfortunately the experience they have from being in said cadet forces doesn't extend very far into actual training, which is to be expected as they aren't part of the army, it's a bunch of kids - young adults having fun, learning some good skills and developing themselves on the side but in a military context

Anyone from a Commonwealth Realm can enlist. For Americans, they usually have to have prior military experience, and ideally in an on-demand role.

Right..... so after all the experience gained in Burma, Malaya and Borneo has obviously been lost (by the looks of that) you are trying to get knowledge from the Jamaican Defence Force who have never conducted Combat operations in Jungle?.... ha.... and your doing jungle/close country contact drills in the jungle clearings not actually in the close country jungle!!. That patrolling was absolutely shocking, you're just ambush fodder walking about like that to be honest, the cams are crap, 95 pattern was some of the best, and by not wearing your J hat your head stands well out like a sore thumb, not that it matters if you are just walking from clearing to clearing. How far the Army has fallen, wouldn't last 5 mins on combat operations in the jungle.
