Ino! The Union Jack represents England and Scotland and as far as I know the Britons never founded England or Scotland, only Wales.

I like their philosophy which begs the question why don't all the Welsh clubs playing in England opt to be in their own league for the opportunity to play European football, interesting this one cheers pal
@WalesTheTrueBritons7 ай бұрын
Well thats the question isn’t it? They’d rather play in the English system because whether they qualify for Europe or not, they’d get more or as much for finishing where they do in the leagues they are currently in. They’d rather abandon their own nation and Principles for a bit more dosh.
@RevStickleback7 ай бұрын
@@WalesTheTrueBritonsThey have played in England since their formation, and The Football League was never meant to be for English clubs only. There wasn't a Welsh League until 1992, and the lack of clubs who would have any chance against even the reserve teams of Cardiff, Swansea etc, meant those clubs joining would have made the league a farce. As it is. The New Saints are bankrolled, and their total dominance as a result has ruined any chance the league had for growth.
@WalesTheTrueBritons7 ай бұрын
They were invited into our league and chose not to join, what would you call that? I would call it traitorous.
@RevStickleback7 ай бұрын
@@WalesTheTrueBritons Or ambitious. Why would a pro club want to abandon the league they'd been in for 70 years for a part-time league? Cardiff's chairman did actually raise the idea, and the fans were horrified.
@alexhughes-ry7cl7 ай бұрын
Welsh teams in the english league are not traitor , They been playing in English league long before Welsh Premier league was a thing . We should be proud of all welsh clubs what ever league their playing in , I wound love to see cymru premier grown attracted more fans and create something special in Wales. It's down to the league as whole and Faw to come up with clever ideas to make it more appealing.

What a lovely little ground that is! Mad though that they’re the most successful team in the Cymru premier! I’ll still know them as Total Network Solutions 😂 What’s the shirt you’re wearing? 🔥
@gordonjohn6 ай бұрын
TNS are not the most successful Welsh League side in Europe though. That honour goes to Barry Town FC. in the 90s they reached the old 3rd round of the UEFA cup. Which was back when the 3rd round was the last round before the Quater Finals. Along the way they knocked out Sporting Lisbon. They were knocked out by Aberdeen.
@DoctorCymraeg2 ай бұрын
I’ll be honest, I’m not a fan of TNS’s domination of the league, but it really bugs me when people run with the notion they’re not a Welsh team. If you’ve ever been to Oswestry, there are more Welsh speakers there than some places on the Welsh side of the border. The borderlands are a complex place, and you’ll find many people there who consider themselves Welsh and proud. Just because a modern-day (and made-up) border puts TNS and Oswestry on the ‘English’ side, it doesn’t take anything away from their devotion to their country.

Most universally hated football club in Wales. Theyd never leave the Welsh league as they would go bust within a few seasons as they wouldn't get the European money. Being the only professional team that receives hundreds of thousands from Uefa qualifying is not an achievement.

The only professional team in Cymru Premier, the y is pronounced as er as it is in the syllable and u is pronounced as in e sound. I hope Penybont another merger of Bridgend Town, who played in the Southern Premier league, as my dad was in that squad 1969/70 they won it and Bryntirion who were in the lower tiers of Welsh football and came up to Welsh division 1 as it known then and always like playing against Bridgend Town, the little brother finding a way to beat the big brother. Coychurch Road was sold to Asda, I love going to watch Bridgend Town play especially as you only needed to pay a pound to get in and I could walk there. Jimmy Greaves when he played at Barnet played at the ground. Bryntirion won the Welsh league division 1 in 2010/11 but denied entry to Welsh Premier league as they didn't meet criteria. FAW are looking to improve things, we have a mix MLS were a team might be relegated as 1st and 2nd in Cymru North and South might not have a FAW tier 1 license to play in the Cymru Premier and Premier league were you might get relegated, if you finish in the bottom 2 or your ground doesn't reach FAW tier 1 as Haverfordwest nearly discovered due to not having enough undercover seats, but this was due to the club fixing them.
@jameshumphreys97157 ай бұрын
It would be nice for FAW to relax the rules, when i was younger, i use to live in a small hamlet/village called Taffs Well, just miles away from Cardiff, Taffs Well isnt heavily, 3672 census in 2011 populated, one thing Football clubs is one under 10s side and a minimum of 4 age group 10 to 21.
