Also, while education loan processing, banks are asking applicants to fill up General Power of Attorney form. My question is why do banks ask for this document? And, Is mandatory to provide this to the banks?

Hello Mam, Is ther any processing fee in SBI GLOBAL E-DVANTAGE SCHEME upto Rs 20 lacs, because in the official website it shows Nil charge for upto Rs 20 lacs. And one more thing for valuation and Legal report who have to pay these charges, student or bank own.

FYI SBI charges Processing Fee of Rs-10,000/- per application on loan amount above 10 Lakhs and they do charge up to Rs-10000 for legal and valuation aswell which has to be paid by the student. Hi Akash! It is not possible to change your repayment tenure once you have disbursed your loan amount. However, if you have multiple DPDs then the bank may call you for a loan Restructure.
