I love the hobby. Collecting my teams and players that I want is great. When I get the massive rookie in a decent card that grades high. I sell that guy, get my money, and buy the singles and products I want. The trends are all the same with the highly touted coveted rookies that do great. Than yr 2 get benched 2 games in(Bryce). Collect at your own risk, "invest" at your own risk. Have fun with it. Hopefully we all hit a lifechanger one day

None of that over printed trash going to be worth anything unless you get about 10x the amount of collectors currently. Fanatics wants to 10x the hobby but they talking about money they make. Big difference.

Wemby is a catch-and-release type flip right now. If you buy his cards now and hold long-term, you're going to sustain huge losses due to supply and his rookie hype stabilizing. Values have potential to hold for a while as he'll have more shots with Chris Paul piloting the Spurs and more national TV exposure. But 2025 may be the year of Cooper Flagg if he has a great one-and-done year at Duke.

At the end of the day, i think the collectors are the most important factor. I think big money flippers who hold will get hit hard in the coming years. But mid to low range gems are simply that, a perfect rookie. Depending on his career collectors will prob want those for years. Small profits add up. Diversify!!

I almost never disagree. But I think wemby is the best card to invest on right now. The ceiling is way too high and he’s in the best ball system plus getting cp3 to learn from is a plus.

I agree. The pop counts on the Panini products are ridiculous imo. The Topps stuff is unlicensed. I own a 2022 Bowman University Chrome Auto Wemby in a BGS Pristine 10, Pop 6. What do you think that is worth? There are 398 PSA 10's of the same card.

Wemby card supply hasn't even fully hit the market yet - love the data ! it is amazing what resources are available for the collectors to be smart and thoughtful on what/who to grade! In July GemRate stated that Wemby was the top 25 top athlete graded of all time, let that sink in. Unreal. Great video as always SCD!!!
