@1:43:30 Mark was actually correct. Patrice found that Buick got the biggest laugh. The original joke was about the DC sniper driving around in his Cadillac. Despite the ~similar end sounds, he found Buick was better. His complaint on Tough Croud was that, as a result of this inaccuracy, ::Buick:: was censored and it ruined the joke. Pontiac sounds like Cadillac but neither punch quite like "a Buick".

Because he was brought up several times I ended up pausing this and watching like 45 min of Dave Attell, god damn he is funny. Everyone seems to have a Dave Attell joke this just hits home for them, I grew up with a drunk father… he was a good dad he was just drunk a lot. Attell had this joke like “growing up I thought my dad was Superman, turns out he was just drunk and wearing a cape” something like that. Sam just told a pretty traumatic story that would have been incredibly interesting to follow-up with additional details and he has to immediately turn the conversation towards himself and try to one-up Sam. This was great. Btw… Berts talking about Hannah Gadsby in a real way and acknowledging that it was somehow game changing is great, when most of the internet is either super woke into her or a sort of abusive toxic pure hate. The nuance is refreshing.

late to the party on this one but, Mark mentioned, "I got accepted to Virginia Tech that year". My friend was at Virginia Tech that year. When the news broke I called her. She was in a field with a bunch of other people who had evacuated. She said when her phone rang everyone stared at her because it was the first call to come through. She was safe, but only because she transferred out of that class 2 weeks prior. She would have been in the classroom where the executions happened.
