Most of the bluster is just for show, made to be more entertaining. At any rate, he is critical more of the options the company foists upon the workers and not those who built the food directly.

We never had a Wendy's near where I live in NE Oklahoma, until a few years ago. It's still a 30-ish minute drive away. I've had it a couple of times, and got the Baconator, and I've gotta say that you could tell a huge difference between their burgers and the one's I typically had from a McDonald's or a Burger King. The meat did strike me as more natural and fresh, in comparison to their competitors' pre-made patties. For a commercialized fast food burger, it ain't bad.. I'd like to try a Whataburger, since I hear a lot of praise for it, but there aren't any in my area.

I made my own baconator burger today but only watched your video after. Yours is accurately layered . Mine was just craft bun- tomato-lettuce-bacon-cheese-burger-bun. I grilled the burgers over coals and slow cooked the bacon in my Traeger. Anytime the kid says it tastes good I am happy. I wish I had watched this video first. I like how you said don’t be afraid to flip the burger when you want to. I try and get a good sear but my coal skills are not up to speed yet. Thanks for the inspiration.

I ate at that Wendys just yesterday! (I like their hot crispy fries) and I will give them credit: Their burgers look a lot more like their ads than any of the other burger joints. Ken been living among the rattlesneks so long - he can unhinge his jaw! For real, I could live off that burger for a week.
