Thing is. Kante never was a prodigy, he was just hardworking and his stamina made for a great defensive snappy tackling minded midfielder but no one could of seen his absolute ethic on and off the field, he being the missing piece in a chelsea team that went from 10th YES TENTH too a premier league title after a fairytale story with Leicester. The world now noticed him, then he wins cup after cup, a europa league london derby demolition of arsenal.. And then the year he should of won the balon'dor chelsea win the ucl, supercup and then club world cup. In the ucl knockout he was motm against atletico and real madrid and then in the final agaisnt peps best city side in which tuchel and kante masterminded 4 wins in 5 weeks the fourth being the ucl win. He was missed until now caicedo is superbly taking over chelseas histoty of having an ultra elite cdm Hes the definition of don't judge a book by it's cover, as his cover is all smiles. But on the field hazard said there's multiple kantes.. "i look left there's ngolo and then right ngolo and then i swear I see him run past me twice!" or something like that. My absolute favourite player beside Eden the last ten years if not more so than Eden because its just kante and hes just so unanimously respected and I watched this from start to its glorious end. Thanks ngolo, forever our favourite dm.

@liksaki714420 күн бұрын
Exactly, that's what I always tell people that hard work and talent aren't enough, you need good environment ( connections) , luck ( no injuries for ex) , Family support , that's why we always have few people in the top , not because the majority didn't work hard, but because they were lacking a lot of things that lead them to be in 1%.

Arsene is the reason Arsenal won trophies btw 1998-2005 Arsene is the reason Arsenal didn't win anything post 2005, he ruined a lot of transfer option The 2015-16 season he just signed Cech and no outfield players, the only European club to do so and it was outrageous
@hassanmakame28 күн бұрын
He had a problem with funds I think as they were building a new stadium...he basically had to come up with a survival strategy which included going for low profile potentials instead of marquee players...can't blame him much...a United fan here.
@saidhammar500628 күн бұрын
There is a reason for that. Starting around mid 2000s they started building a stadium and had no money. That's why. Wenger could have left for a club that would give him a better budget. But he didn't. He stayed at Arsenal because he felt it was his duty to save the club during that period where they'd build a stadium and have no budget. He is a great man. No other manager would have done that. He's undoubtedly the co-greatest manager in Premier League history alongside our Sir Alex.
@vennsim7125 күн бұрын
When other managers demanded funds to buy players, Wenger groomed youngsters into superstars and sold them for 10s of millions to finance the stadium building fund. Rinse and repeat. The stadium is a testament of Professor Wenger’s astute economics knowledge.

Nobody wanted Kante and he didn't want him either. Saying he could've gotten him doesn't sound entirely true. Somebody was literally begging you to get him and you didn't, then when it paid off for somebody else you want to state a claim. I know it's quite possible that maybe you didn't have a say in signing him but if it was that "EASY" then how come you didn't sign him?

Not the manager sign players but the football director. If the club President don't want to sign the manager can do nothing about that. In past they were looking at more than football skills thats also the reason Madrid didn't sign Ronaldinho because they were at good looking players for commercial reason These days the Club fans don't look at how you look as long as you can entertain them with good football and win trophies

He sold all his best players for small amounts. Think Henry and vieira went both went for 10-15 million each and van persie went for 20 million. Then he transferred his best player sanchez on swap deal for £0. Ronaldo would have been same. So best for Ronaldo he didn’t go arsenal
@Rmarmurray28 күн бұрын
He makes up for it because all of these players he bought them for very very small amounts, they became world class and won lots for him and then he sold them for more than he bought them for
@saidhammar500628 күн бұрын
You forgot to say that those players were bought for nothing and became legends in the meanwhile. They had their best career at Arsenal before leaving. Even though it was a dream for me to get Van Persie at United, undeniable that he's a product of Arsene Wenger. Ronaldo would have had a great career there too. Not sure what it would look like, because of course the Ronaldo we know better fits United, but that's completely subjective. He would have been a different player raising at Arsenal.
