Went crazy in the diecast collectibles shop. Premium diecast from Inno64, Kyosho, Schuco, Tiny HK

It's a pretty cool shop. Mostly hot wheels focused but they rent cabinets to other people that have some interesting stuff. Prices are kinda high though.

Thanks David. That certainly could be fun. If you want a real expert though you might try to get The Toy Pimp. The guys in the shop had actually suggested I should bring him on for an interview but that's not my kind of thing. Most of this came from his cabinets in the shop and I believe he's been in the diecast world pretty much forever.

Maybe you can buy cases of these kyosho blind boxes and do unboxing video of them ( I would love to see what you get and how many duplicates you got from a case)

I have definitely considered that as there are some of those sets I would absolutely love to have. They're fairly expensive now though and actual sealed ones are pretty rare. I did buy the 2 complete sets of Kyosho Ferrari F1 cars which I've done videos on but those weren't sold as blind boxes. Those have become some of my most treasured items in my collection. AFAIK there won't be duplicates in a case but depending on the set you also may not get all the cars in a single box. I had purchased a couple sets of Aoshima blind boxes before I had this channel and will definitely get Grachan 14 whenever that comes out.

You have an extensive collection. Do you collect 1/64 scale trucks?

When I first started I didn't have much interest in trucks but as time has gone on my appreciation for them as grown significantly. I wouldn't say I'm a big truck collector but they're definitely becoming a bigger part of my collection than I would have expected and I do wish I had more room for larger truck castings.

Yeah Ferrari is a tough one. None of the companies that make them really have broad distribution in the US. Tarmac will be bringing out Ferrari race cars which I'm excited for and will be available from Hobby Dealers but even those still won't be cheap.

@@machucast Yep I was poking around in that one yesterday but didn’t grab anything from it. That is one of 4 cabinets rented by The Toy Pimp that contain all kinds of interesting things and where most of this came from. I don’t actually buy too often from there as the prices are much higher than ebay for new stuff but I will pick and choose on older or more unusual items.
