It seems like you can add how long it takes simple to get simple things done to your other list of things you hate about the Philippines. I have experienced similar things many times and have had friends get the runaround for days at a time. I wont even get into how long it takes to renew a visa or drivers license or getting a license plate for your vehicle.

Feel your pain!! Have to take it in strides!! Philippines still stuck in the Stone Age when it comes to everything, came to Kazakhstan on business been stuck here for 3 months, took a month to find out that foreigners with working visa’s in the Philippines are allowed back in to the country. Bought a truck over a year ago still no Tag. Originally moved to the Philippines in 2017, had to do work visa’s twice because government agencies forgot to put my last name on all documents, took forever. You have to go to 6 different places to do anything and this was before the quarantine crap. All ways told have patience, patience runs thin around there. Good luck have fun!!
