I lived in Altinkum in Turkey for 2 years & was a DJ at Medusa in the summer. The vast majority of Turkish people are friendly and very welcoming to foreigners. Really do miss the place

the KIlkenny/Guiness mix is a take on a Smithwicks / Guiness mix in Ireland , but in NYC / Boston they use Bass Ale & Guiness , the Bass is poured into a glass 65% full and then the Guiness is poured onto the Bass , but they use a Guiness 'spoon' to pour the Guiness onto , the Guiness don't penitrate the Bass , it just sits on top the Bass giving you a two tone pint, as the Guiness spoon slows the pour.

Welcome to İstanbul lads! I've been watching your videos for a quite while since I love bar hopping and pub/bar culture. I'm local in İstanbul and we do not have bars and pubs similar like the U.S or U.K since we do not have ''bar/pub culture'' but what we do have is what's called ''Meyhane'' which is basically a traditional place where they serve alcoholic beverages, mainly Rakı which is our traditional drink with 45% ABV, with traditional snacks (Meze in Turkish) and food. I highly suggest you lads to try Rakı before you leave! Enjoy İstanbul!

If you’re after a lager pissup then you can’t miss really, everywhere is good.. maybe avoid the spots right on the square because they often rip you off, but even a rip off in Poland is pretty cheap lol.. If you’re after craft beer then MultiQlti, Viva La Pinta and Nowy Kraftowy are decent but for stag dos imo you have to go to C.K Browar and get one of the massive sharing tubes of beer.. it’s like a giant test tube with a tap at the bottom and you just pour your own, great for stags. Funny you should say no ale because usually you can’t get ale outside of England but there’s actually a brewpub in Krakow called Teatime that brews their own real ales lol
