is very sad to see this lovely holiday town so run down and broken....I've stayed in Blackpool twice as a child, never used to look like this, I truly hope Blackpool can recover, this is just heartbreaking 😢😢

Nice vid. Reminds me of watching City in the 90's. Now all the pubs are long gone apart from The Claremont. The Osborne, Gardeners Arms, Lord Lyon, Beehive, Sherwood, Parkside and probably a few more.

Cash is King mate , loads of chippies and car parks still cash only so not just the pubs....reckon this new world just want micro chips in their wrist then they just don't have to think about anything , to be honest most of them can't do simple maths which is why they love credit cards 🤣 Great walk around and very tame considering how it used to be , keep the faith mate 👍

My Hubs had a flat in Moss Side when much younger, he says it was a very happy time.. The neighbours would turn up with food for him & when he mentioned it needed decorating, everyone brought paint & helped. A lovely carpet turned up on his doorstep one morning too!! We are both white & to this day we visit Moss Side once every few weeks for foods and spices & Bun & Patties. Never had a spot of trouble. People could perhaps do with free brooms handing out I guess, though!! Mancs is very expensive for taking big articles to be tipped/recycled & could help folks more than they do.
